If you're anything like me, then you're always looking for new ways to earn a quick buck. Inevitably, your search leads you to the internet, which can be scary.

There are thousands - maybe even millions - of websites that claim you can make money online. And all of them sound too good to be true. That's because they are!

I'm here to help you determine how to evaluate online money making tools and hopefully find a way for you to make money online! Because who wouldn't rather work in their underwear?

Evaluating:

This isn't one of the most important things to consider when trying to make money online; this is THE MOST important thing to consider.

Every website claims that you can quit your jobs and make your current salary plus more. Every website does. I'm sure there are people that are able to do this, but I can almost guarantee you that person will not be you.

99.9% of online money making tools are complete scams. The biggest scam of all: pay $XX.XX and get our training video to show you how to be successful. They don't care if you're successful; they only want your money. You get locked in for the initial payment, but almost no one uses the training video or whatever gimmick they offer to make money. That's because these tools aren't designed for you to make money; they are designed for the people that created it to make money.

That's why I've come up with this one simple rule: if you have to pay money to make money online, then you're not going to make any money. That's because you don't have to pay any money to make money online.

Another easy way to find out if this product or service has a chance to make money is to simply search the idea with the word "scam". If it is a scam, there will be an article somewhere about it.

A Suggestion:

Now that I've given you a brief overview on how to evaluate your resources, let me suggest one money making tool that I know works. Here's the best part about it: you don't have to pay any money!

The business is called Wealthy Affiliate.

If you don't know what an affiliate is, let me explain. Basically, an affiliate is someone that helps promote a product and then gets a percentage of the sale as a kick back.

Here's how Wealthy Affiliate works. First you join. It is 100% free. Yes, they do try to force the premium upgrade down your throat, but that is completely optional. It is easily possible to make money with the free membership. Once you join, you will be invited to participate in an introductory course that teaches you the basics to making money through wealthy affiliate. By the time you complete the course you will have decided on niche, built a website, and learned about search engine optimization to give your website a better ranking in Google.

Let me back up for a minute. The way to make money online through Wealthy Affiliate is to build a website and then become an affiliate.

If you've made it this far, I have two questions: Do you like to write? and Would you be willing to write articles to make money online? If the answer is no to one of those questions, then Wealthy Affiliates is not for you. The content for your website is entirely generated by you, but the website is focused on anything you choose. The way to make money is to get people to read your articles and then either promote a product, have them click on an advertisement, or refer other people to join. As long as your articles are well written and informative, then you will have no problem driving traffic to your website.

You don't have to do anything if you don't want. Search engine optimization helps drive traffic to your site, but you are more than welcome to help promote it yourself. They give you a wordpress site, so you have to do very little to get your website running. Once you finish that, it's time to make money.

There are a lot of ways you can earn money through Wealth Affiliates. You make money anytime that someone you refer signs up for Wealthy Affiliates. Also, you can post your own link places and if people register through that link you will make money. There is also the option of joining an existing affiliate network like Amazon or Best Buy. These websites will give you codes to put ads on your website or specific links to products that you can put in your articles. Once you do that, you really just sit back and let the money pile up.

Okay, it's not quite that easy. You do need to continually produce content, network, and learn from everything that the founders, Kyle and Carson, have made. It is truly an incredible program with so much valuable information.
