Listening to Your Body
How important is your health? What have you done lately to ensure that you stay in the best of shape? Today I found myself attracting a sore throat and running nose it was really hard for me to attend to my business.
It really made me realize how much we can take for granted. having a day without having to deal with a cool or sore throat is priceless. What really got my attention was that I can't remember the last time I got any kind of Illness. I am a holistic Dr. and I apply what I teach. I know the importance of food and how it affects the body.
What came to mind when I had to accept that I was going to go through this was that no one is immune to the surrounding of the environment . I realized that the cars and the other stuff is all around us and at some point will bring us down.
Opportunity
When we fine ourselves down from some kind of attack it really is an opportunity to learn something about ourselves. The body needs to slow down and refresh itself from the stresses that we go through on a daily basic,it's not enough to sleep at night and than go through our day stressing because it's just a matter of time till the body will speak it's mind and call forth the lesson it needs.
Meditation
Rest from meditation is an important aspect to apply within ones life I have found that the practice of meditation will help calm the mind into the ability to control what goes on in our lives. There are no secrets to get, it's all there ready for our taking and it will bless us in many ways we can't even imagine.
Problem on Ourselves
One way to guide us through life is to listen to ourselves as we meditate. A huge problem we bring on ourselves is the fact that we believe that our help comes form outside of ourselves. This is a big mistake because the bigger lessons comes from inside and for some reason we resist our true selves.
Allowing Ourselves
The first step is to be aware of this fact and to allow ourselves the joy of this kind of freedom. This is the kind of freedom that our society as a whole trained us to accept the opposite. It train us to stay so busy that we forgot who we are and instead we let the powers that be control and manipulate us into believing that who we think we are is who we are.
The time has come to take our lives back be in control and get back to the simple and exciting part of our lives. As far as I know we have this life to get it right because in the next one we won't remember this one. Now is what's important.
