Nature Friendly Living – Green Health

Well being of our planet and our human wellness are closely related. In order for us to achieve and maintain green health, we must first think about the welfare of the environment in which we live and we must start to create nature friendly living habits. Today, not only environmentalists should care about what quality air we breath and clean water we drink, but also every citizen of this world. With the global awakening of consciousness through the media and organizations, more and more citizens are concerned about the environmental protection and earthy living.

We, as conscious human beings, need to follow the principles of a nature friendly living lifestyle; engage in a physical activity, create healthy eating habits, develop a mindful change in thinking and, most of the important of all – live in a harmony with Nature. All these factors not only contribute to our health and conditions we live in, but also are beneficial to the well being of the environment. We all together are able to create green health because people who are living earthy lifestyles, love and respect nature!

Let's look at the extent to which nature friendly living, even employing these simple changes, promotes green health:

  • If we were able to reduce or even give up the use of our car on behalf of, for example, car-pooling or car sharing, or public transportation, we would significantly reduce the emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere.
  • If we were able not to watch TV during our workouts, we would save energy.
  • If we were able to strengthen our stamina by working in the backyard garden instead of using some electrical equipment, we would boost development of our skills, strength, and endurance.
  • If we were able to use products nourishing our health, and thus support manufacturers beneficial to our health and environment, we would remarkably limit the danger and risks posed by highly processed foods saturated with chemicals.
  • If we were concerned about our health, we would reduce the consumption of drugs.

The list can go on and on. People, who are consistently sticking to the principles of a nature friendly living lifestyle, promote their attitude to more potential learners, their children, neighbors, etc.; and thus, widening the circle of people interested in positive changes in their lives and in the world. A growing circle of people interested in green health, promotes the formation of the green and pro-health lobby, which in turn furthers many changes in legislation and actions by the authorities at various levels. So, share the words with others, spread the information, let's make one another aware. People, who care about green health and who perform various activities for the benefit of your health, are much more willing to work for others' wellness and the health of the world we live in.

It’s time to take responsibility for our well being and for a health of our planet. So start from today on implementing nature friendly living lifestyle choices because tomorrow may be too late! Green health for life!
