More and more women are using kettle bells for fitness training. And there's a good reason why: Because the work faster and get even better results than normal fitness tools such as dumb bells. Their design and exercise methods burn calories, melt fat and work way more muscles in the body than most fitness tools. So if you're a woman whose looking to get into shape, here are 3 beginner kettlebell workouts just for women!
1. The kettle bell swing: The most common and popular exercise for these tools. Start with a 5-10 lb kettle ball, stand with your feet about 2 feet apart, hold the ball with both hands and slowly begin moving the ball up and down between your feet and up towards your shoulder level. Make sure to pop your hips before doing this exercise to avoid any stress on the back. Also make sure to swing the ball rather than lift it. There's a reason it's called a swing! Let the momentum of the swing work for you. You'll feel an incredible burn in your abdominal area. Do these workouts for no more than 1-2 minutes. They warm up the entire body and burn calories.
2. The wind mill (variation): A variation of the swing, but here you use 1 arm. Pick an arm (right for the sake of example). Stand in the same position you did during the first exercise (the swing) and swing the ball up towards your shoulder and let it rest behind the shoulder. Then bring it back down between the legs and repeat the motion for 1-2 minutes. This workout is great for toning the arms and upper body. The regular windmill involves going further with this exercise, but it may be bad for the back.
3. The swing (one arm to another): Stand in the same position as during the first exercise but hold the ball in one hand. Swing it up to a shoulder level and transfer it to the other arm. Don't worry it's actually pretty easy. Once on the other arm, bring it down between the legs, swing it back up and switch back to your other arm. Repeat this process for 1-2 minutes.
These 3 simple exercises deliver great results. They make you burn calories, warm up the entire body and train way more muscles than dumb bells do. In fact if you used dumb bells and attempted to train all the muscles you did in these 3 exercises, you'd end up doing 10 different exercises and for way longer!
Ladies there's no need to sugar coat it so here's the bottom line: Kettlebell workouts for women are arguably one of the if not the best way to train, get fast fitness results and the body you've always wanted. The important thing to make sure is that you're doing it right! In order to do that, you need proper guidance, such as a trainer or some sort of certified program.
