1. Move a little bit more

Undoubtedly the most effective way to influence your metabolism is to exercise, but it is not only very tough workout session that counts. You can help yourself by avoiding sitting still for long periods of time. Take the stairs instead of the elevator, walk the dog, use your height- adjustable tables at work etc. gives you your fat loss a huge boost.

2. Increase your muscle mass

The more muscle mass, the more energy your body needs - even when not in motion. Muscle cells require energy even when they are not active and therefore more muscle mass will increase your metabolism a lot. If you have the energy, it is a brilliant idea to supplement fat burning workouts with weight training.

3. Hill runs

Run at speed up that hill. The beauty is that you can use the terrain to increase and decrease the pulse by running in fast pace uphill and slow when going downhill. It's pretty tough, but in return you burn a massive amount of calories.

4. Divide your workout

If you don’t have the time and opportunity try to divide your workout into smaller parts throughout the day/week. Your body continues to burn fat at a higher rate after training. Which means that the more "after workout” you have in a day, the better.

5. Increase the intensity

Get motion throughout the body, for example by investing in a pair of roller skis, so you get the opportunity to work with your arms simultaneously. Length skiing can also be done on skates.

6. Remember those small meals

Many people that exercises are trying to lose weight by starving themself, but not enough calories during the day can ruin your workouts. Instead, you should eat many smaller sized meals that should contain proteins and slow carbohydrates.

7. Compete

Some friendly competition in a nice environment is sure to boost your fat burning. If you have the opportunity to exercise with one or more friends, you can push and help each other and get more out of your workout that way.

8. Beware of hard training

The more often you exercise, the more fat you’ll burn. But beware, if you are exercising too hard your body is not able to recover. The result is that your form actually gets worse and your muscles less. So try to stay away from exercising the same muscle groups two days in a row.

9. View training as an investment

Try to choose exercise that you enjoy and that fits into your everyday life, you should try to look at exercise as one of the best investments you can make in life. You’ll get fitter, healthier, toned, feel better, and have lots more energy.

Quite a bit here Anna. Will definitely increase fat loss if we can get it all incorporated in our daily routine. I guess as you indicated a little here and there could add up to a lot at the end of the day. Cheers!

You are so right. Instead of sitting there doing nothing because people feel that a year sounds as a long time, but in this way at least they will have something to show for at the end of the year instead of nothing. The year will pass by anyway.
