Simple really. I recommend these exercises because they are the best to start off with. Why? Because they are super targeted for all the different muscle groups in your abdomen. Hey Kenneth, From experience I can attest that abdominal exercises are important in keeping a strong core, in terms of strength training. Especially if your in to performing squats and other various free weight barbell exercises. However, in terms of actually getting the abdominal muscles to show, the real factor in that depends on a low body fat percentage you currently maintain. Weight lifting and dieting work hand in hand, but what I'm saying here is that you neglect to workout abs, shred down to 9% body fat, and still have a model quality six-pack.
