How to Get Rid Of Cellulite on Thighs And Buttocks Naturally

Imagine being able to feel confident in everything you wear, even short skirts and bathing suits. By the time you finish reading this article you will know how to get rid of cellulite on thighs, and buttocks naturally.

Cellulite may be found on many areas of the body such as the stomach, arms, and calves but the most commonly reported area for women to have dimpled, rippled skin is the legs, buttocks, and thighs.

Not a big surprise really, since this is where we ladies tend to store our excess fat. No not by choice, but because female genetics just said so!

What causes cellulite? I am not going to go into a long drawn out explanation here, so to make it brief... cellulite is caused by eating more fat than our bodies need and letting our skin lose elasticity by not stimulating the muscles.

Both of these things have to happen, before cellulite finally appears on the skins surface. Having too much fat will not cause cellulite by itself, that may explain why some over weight people don't have cellulite and some skinny people do.

You may have heard that cellulite is trapped fat or a special type of fat, but that's not true. It's nothing more than plain old fat.

We all need a certain amount of fat in our daily diet in order to stay healthy. The problem begins when we consume more fat than our body needs. The excess will be stored by our bodies for later use.

When this stored up fat doesn't get used, it begins to build up day after day, month after month, year after year. A rather slow process for most, but that depends greatly on your daily activity and diet choices of course.

If you are not very active, and you don't watch what you eat you will end up with too much fat, and not enough storage space. The excess fat will then begin to push against your tissues, and muscles. The muscle and tissue area will act as a barrier if you have kept them in shape properly.

If the muscles are not nice and tone the fat will be allowed to break right through the barrier, giving us that rippled, dimpled look that all of us ladies despise with great passion.

Now I know your first instinct is to run to the nearest drug store and buy some sort of body cellulite cream in hopes of magically smoothing out your new orange peel textured skin, well at least this was my first instinct anyway. It doesn't work like that, there isn't a miracle cure for cellulite, if there was no one would purposely walking around with it on their legs right?

It took a long time for me to finally stop looking for a quick fix. I tried lotions, oils, herbs, massages, massage machines, cellulite brushes, wraps, not to mention tons of home remedies as well.

Out of all these things I think the cellulite body wraps were the closest thing to a quick fix that I could find, the problem with wraps is that the results are only temporary.

I wanted a real solution to my problem, a way to get rid of cellulite for good! I know that's what you want too, or you wouldn't still be reading this.

So I promised to show you how to get rid of cellulite on thighs and buttocks naturally by the end of this article, and it's time for me to make good on that promise.

Since getting cellulite is a two part process, it's only fitting for the solution to be a two step process as well. It's actually a simple solution to what has been portrayed as a very difficult problem.

What we need to do is rather obvious isn't it? The opposite of what we have been doing of course.

Step 1. We have to cut back on our fat consumption. We need to choose foods that are high in fiber, and low in fat like fruits, vegetables, and beans. Lower your sodium, and caffeine intake while increasing your fluids to ensure proper hydration.

Step 2. We have to tighten, and tone our muscles through exercise. Be careful of the workouts that you perform when trying to remove cellulite. Do not use any weights, or exercise machinery of any sort. This type of workout could actually make more dimples appear, rather than making them disappear.

Instead you want to find a routine that stimulates the muscles gently for toning without bulk, as well as maintaining a medium level of cardio.

I actually follow a workout routine that is laser targeted at removing cellulite, and it takes all of 22 minutes out of my day to complete. The moves are simple to perform, and easy to follow. A gym is great for the normal workout, but not as valuable when it comes to a cellulite workout.

If money is tight and you can't afford to buy an anti cellulite training video then do things like fast walking, swimming, rollerblading, and squats. These are great cellulite stoppers, not quite as fast or as effective as a laser targeted exercise routine meant to remove cellulite is but they definitely help none the less.

Getting rid of cellulite isn't as hard as they make it seem, but it will require a bit of effort, and determination on your part. Don't keep searching for a miracle cellulite cure while hiding behind your jeans all summer long. You can fight cellulite, and win.
