How to Lose Belly Fat While Driving

I guess this unique exercise will really surprise you, but it is actually an easy exercise designed for both men and women. You’ve probably heard this before but haven’t tried it yet (or haven’t heard of it at all). So, what is this exercise?

This exercise will target and strengthen your deeper abdominal muscles. In so doing, it will pull in your “beer belly” giving you a flat stomach. Although this will not increase your body’s fat burning response or metabolic rate, this will surely flatten your stomach. This exercise is completely manual and won’t need any ab gadget. But it is so effective that it can give you a flat stomach.

The unique exercise is called ab vacuum. Applying it can develop into a good habit if you’re driving regularly or driving long distance when there is not much to do other than wait until you arrive at your destination. But of course, you can also do this while working in front of your computer; doing something while sitting; or even lying down or kneeling on the floor. You can do this simple exercise almost anywhere at any time.

So, how do you perform the ab vacuum exercise? Here are 3 steps:

  1. Take a deep breath.
  2. As you exhale, press your belly against your spine (as far as you can without holding it). Sustain it for at least 10 seconds (maximum of 20 seconds). You can take short breaths in between.
  3. Relax your stomach, then repeat step 1 and 2 to do the exercise again.

Do this at least five times - better if you can perform more. You will feel that ab vacuum will give your deep abdominal muscles a good workout, and when performed 4-5 days per week, it will give very good results. Moreover, this exercise will cost you nothing because you can do it using your own abdominal muscles. You just have to try it in order to experience it.

Important: Do this exercise when your stomach is not full. And if at first attempt you’ll find it distracting your concentration in driving, you can stop right a way, because you can always do it while not driving.

On the other hand, if you want a true six pack abs or a tight sexy stomach, you’ll need to totally get rid of your abdominal fat. Good article! I do something similar borne out of my martial arts training. I have not done a sit-up for years, but my stomach is rock hard. It just takes the kind of training you have described and then applying it with consistency.

That's great Gail. The more reps you make the better, but only up to 5 days per week so that your stomach muscles will have 2 days to relax.

Well, this one is better.. I tend to use the car all the time still young and already got a heap of stomach fat.. i had to get a bicycle to at least help me lose a lil bit of it as i hate excercise..

But there are foods that burn belly fat also, like avocado, coconut, eggs, nuts (walnuts, almonds, Brazil nuts, pecans, and so on), whole grain, oats, carrots, etc. you can also check my other articles. That's good Carmen. I'm sure ab vacuum can easily be a part of your daily routine. It's very different to the traditional ab exercise because the traditional one is painful to the ab muscles. On the other hand, ab vacuum gives low impact to your abs.

Howdy, Shawn. I got more in my next articles, but this one is the simplest. I now realized it was a good idea to shared it.
