How to lose the belly fat

Losing the belly fat is one of the most challenging feats the average person faces on their journey to losing weight. A lot of people struggle with this due to the misconception that all you have to do is run, or the most common, using abs exercise machines. I must agree that all these pieces do play a role when trying to lose weight, but the key is balance. Exercise, diet and rest

Exercise

When it comes to exercise, we all have different levels of fitness. And it is best to find out your fitness level.

Most programs have fitness tests. Nevertheless if you don’t have one it’s easy. Just do as many pushups as you can, pull ups, squats, and so on and so forth. Once you reach your max that’s the number. Easy? And from there you can chart your progress. Which is easy rewarding and encouraging.

For some us we might have to start with modified movements. A good example is pushups. It might be better to start on knees and hands instead of the full body toes and hands.

Or even pull ups. Instead of just starting right off the bat pulling your full weight why not have a chair in front of you and put one foot on the chair to take some of that weight off

And if you have a gym membership, they have equipment which you can use that help select how much weight you are pulling. Either way start small, then move to bigger things.

Cardio

Running is a great way to help keep the weight off. But If you keep doing the same thing over and over your body gets used to it. So change it up every now and then. Do a little swimming, biking, tennis, basketball, soccer whatever you enjoy. Number one is psychologically you start looking forward to your workouts instead of dreading them, and Number two you get to have fun!

Diet

Every weight reduction program must include a diet plan. So here are some quick tips about diet.

Drink lots of fluids. We more often confuse hunger for thirst.

Get the recommended 5-9 servings of fruits and vegetables per day. Focusing on the right things to eat naturally pushes aside the wrong ones. It’s like someone said if you are doing what you are supposed to be doing then you don’t have time to do what you are not supposed to be doing.

"Your stomach is only the size of your fist.” The basics are eat only what you need to. Most of us overeat and it leads to feeling tired and lazy

Another good way to avoid overeating is getting enough protein in your body. It encourages fat burning while keeping you feeling full. So be sure to include protein in your diet. Yogurt, cheese, nuts, or beans, at meals and snacks are great.

Rest

Above all else rest.

A good 7-8hours of sleep per day is recommended. It gives time for you're body to recover, and for your mind to rest. If you're not focused or feeling drowsy due to lack of sleep, chances are you will skip exercising. So get that sleep :)

Conclusion

So to recap exercise, start from small and build yourself into it, mix it up and do activities that you enjoy. Eat healthy include fruits and vegetables with your meals and get some good rest.

Do these simple things and you are on your way to healthy living, and saying goodbye to that extra fat.

Street Talk

Nice article...! Simple rules to follow to lose weight and bell fat... cardio, good nutrition and rest as you said. But people always search for one "pill solution", and that is the problem i guess why many of us fail. Thanks for sharing!

Yes absolutely. Meat, fish, eggs and fowl are great sources for protein. I would recommend white meat though less fat/calories.
