Importance Of Stretching With Exercises

When starting with any exercise it is of the utmost importance to do stretching exercises for your muscles. I can’t stress out the importance of stretching with exercises before you start your training day. I am going to show you some ideas and tips you should think of to perform when starting your training day.

Usually after a day of great exercises your body is a little stiff right, which makes it difficult for you to train again the next day. If you don’t stretch or do some kind of stretch exercises you can injure some muscle groups which one doesn’t want. These guidelines I am going to mention, I use before any exercises that I do so lets go.

Right, we always talk about doing stretching exercises before your workout starts, but it is very good for your muscles when doing some stretching exercises after your workout routine, why, because your muscles are still nice and warm which works great for flexibility which will make it easier to train. Just stretch a position for about 60 seconds, before any exercises you can warm up with stretching for about 25 seconds which will be enough to get your muscles going.

Lets say your stretching exercise is; you stand up straight and bend forward as if you want to touch your toes. If you stretch that position and holds for 25 seconds, don’t return to fast to normal straight position, you can damage or strain your muscles. Rather come up slowly. This works the same with any exercises you do with example; dumbbell curls, most people rush through their movements and use to heavy weights which results in a swinging motion. Not correct, do your movements slowly with less weight for maximum results. This was just something that came up while typing this article lets go back to stretching exercises.

Let’s say your routine for today is the upper body, rather do stretching exercises for your whole upper and lower body and not just the upper. You will feel much better when you start your training routine. I usually stand with my back against a wall and lift my one knee up to my stomach and hold it their for about 25 seconds with my arms and do the other leg to stretch your legs a bit.

When you stand up strait and twist your waist to the left and right for stretching exercises, rather bend your knees a little bit, this will warm up your lower femur muscle as well, and some people have got injuries they picked up before on their knees, this will prevent your knee caps to not got a chance to pop out, which is not a great feeling.

I typed a bit longer than normal but enjoyed giving you some tips on stretching exercises, implement them into your routine and just enjoy whatever exercises you’re performing.
