Most people associate lifting weights as a male way of exercise, but that could be further from the truth. Today thousands of women are toning and shaping their bodies with the kettlebell. There are many kettlebell workouts for women that will help them get in the best shape of their life. If you're a woman, I encourage you to give kettlebells a try.

If you're a female with loose (saggy) arms, extra fat around your abdomen or want to tighten up your buttocks there is a program specfically for you. Kettlebell workouts for women also gives the more fit woman the chance to fine tone her desired target muscles. Another reason kettlebell workouts for women are unique is that most women usually don't want to add muscle mass to their bodies, but only to tone. Kettlebells are perfect for that.

Kettlebell workouts for women is a very heart pumping intense workout. Losing those extra pounds and burning those additional calories won't be a problem when you follow a kettlebell training program. When you use the swinging exercises your body works harder to perform the task, in turn increasing your heart rate and that means more calories you burn.

When you begin the workout, the key is to keep moving. Each exercise is to be done back-to-back without resting. The only time you rest is when you complete the full cycle of exercises. You'll rest for a few minutes, then repeat the exercise cycle. Three cycles will make for a good workout. I would suggest you workout with the kettlebell 3-4 days a week to see maximum results.

The traditional fitness rountines for women are aerobics, and lifting with very light weights. The kettlebell workouts for women will accomplish all of what your traditional routines will and a whole lot more, because of the intensity and full range of motion movements the kettlebell offer. Start off using one kettlebell that meets your fitness level and work your way up when your able to perform the exercise the good form. Good form matters more than anything else.
