Proper Exercise for Health

There are two main types of exercise that we can do in order to keep ourselves fit. Both may not require any kind of equipment other than a set of comfortable clothes and a good pair of shoes unless you want to proceed naked, which may be an eye sore. The most common category that everyone may know about is in the form of jogging, skipping rope, swimming or running which may also be referred to as Cardio. This aerobic exercise can be done on a high to low intensity paired with short rest periods. This is also a good way to lose a few extra pounds if done in a correct way. Take note that sex is also considered a cardiovascular activity that burns a lot of energy.

Another type of exercise is referred to as resistance training which aims to strengthen muscle tissues. It involves lifting, pulling and holding weights while on a certain position. Dumbbells, resistance bands, weighted vest and pull-up bars are just some of the useful equipments that you can use to perform resistance training. The simplest exercise that does not require any kind of tool is the regular push up. It may be easy for some people to do a hundred, but there is a way to increase the difficulty by adding some variety. For example, you can do a decline push up where your feet are elevated and should be higher than your torso. Also, it helps to lengthen the lowering period to make it more effective.

Physical exercise is a great way to release tension and so is sex, however the former may cause injuries due to incorrect posture or from repetitive stress that the joint or muscle undergoes when performing an exercise. This may require medical treatment and therapy, which can cost a lot. Health Insurance is another tool that you may want to consider, especially when you live an active life. No matter what type of physical activity you choose, it is always important to know that over working your body is not a good thing. It is better to take things slow from the basics in order to build up a foundation strength and endurance. It is also important to take some short period of rest in between your exercises to make sure that you are breathing in oxygen that you need and also, sip small amounts of water to hydrate yourself.

Keep track of your activities by putting them down on your logbook or notes application of your phone. This will be your reference to indicate any progress and will serve as your motivational tool. There is also a fact that you might want to keep in mind. Exercise, burn more calories than just twerking.
