Quality Long Life With Live Longer Exercise

Many people think about having a quality long life. They don't want to live with diminishing memory and cognitive function, or joint replacements and in confinement. If this is you, get started with a live longer exercise program. There is so much to be had in later years if you are healthy and strong.

The icon, Jack Lalanne said "The only way you can hurt the body is not to use it." And how right this is. Those who get on a treadmill or walk while they watch television have the right idea. They could have a better program with a well timed pace to it that challenges their heart, lungs and muscles in a strategic way. Yet, whatever you do to keep moving is better than sitting.

With some exceptions. Cardio training like jogging or running can just wear out your joints. The repetitive impact is damaging, and as it turns out, this prolonged low intensity movement does not have add to your overall body strength. However, alternating the intensity of your exertion during exercise has an extremely beneficial effect.

Just How Beneficial Is This High/Low Intensity Training?

  • lower stress levels
  • you can start out a low level, just walking if you need to
  • you can decide on your own rate of progress
  • you can use different styles of exercise, as you choose
  • you only need to exercise twelve - 12! - minutes at a time

You learn how to use the principle of increasing your exertion level - your intensity - during these twelve minutes, but not increasing the duration of your workout. You do not have to push yourself unreasonably. You will get stronger, slowly but surely - or maybe not so slowly!

One of the most amazing results relating to a quality long life, is the life extension of your DNA. At the end of the strands of DNA in your body, is an area of genetic material called telomere. These telomeres get worn out and shortened by life, stress, chemical contaminants, lack of healthy circulation and metabolism, to explain this the non-clinical way.

These telomeres are in a way, the clocks that determine when your cells shut down, beginning the end of your lifetime. As your cells divide and replicate themselves, the telomeres get a little shorter.

Studies have shown that active people, who practice high intensity exercise, have longer telomeres. Isn't that a great motivation to learn a live longer exercise program! It goes far beyond stronger muscles and better balance, not that those factors are not important.

Consider The Signs Of Decline In Life

  • weight gain - slower metabolism
  • weaker muscles, loss of balance
  • loss of circulation
  • insulin resistance/Metabolic Syndrome/Type II Diabetes
  • loss of confidence/body image/social interest
  • collection of wastes in the body cells worsening all of the above

Those are just a few of the common conditions that will rob you of a quality long life.

Yet you can avoid them, or reverse them to a large degree if you try a live longer exercise program, with a strategic pace set in the execution of your movements. There are visual aids available that will get you started toward a quality long life.
