300 may have been released a long time ago, but it's popularity is still very high as is it's popular subtopic: The 300 workout. But let's not forget the ladies in the movie! There weren't that many, but the women who did appear had incredible figures which came as a result of the workout itself.
This workout's design is still used to this day as a reference for fitness enthusiasts because it's method of training really did revolutionize the fitness industry. However, it is a very intense workout that few can truly complete, and this applies to men just as much as women.
For example, there is a lot of emphasis on upper body training, with many exercises involving pull ups, resistance exercises, and a lot of weight lifting in very fast paced intervals, with very few breaks. If you aren't in decent shape to begin with, you may find that the 300 workout for women may be impossible for you to complete.
So how do you do it then? By using the one tool that will get you the same results this workout gives you: The Kettlebell. It is quite possibly the ultimate tool for women's fitness. For men as well, but it is absolutely ideal for women as it's design and workouts specifically build lean muscle in all areas of the body. No bulkiness, just toned and sexy lean results, just what the ladies want!
Kettlebells make fitness crusades a heck of a lot easier because of their unique design and workouts which target more muscle groups than normal exercises, dumbbells, expensive machines and in this case, very intense workouts.
As a result you can literally get the same results from using a kettlebell as you would from doing the 300 workout. Not in the same time, but the end result will pretty much be the same.
In fact, kettlebells were used in the movie 300 and are a very important part of the workout itself. The other exercises that weren't can be substituted with other kettlebell exercises that target the same muscle groups.
The truth is that the 300 workout will get women results, no doubt about it. But it's insane approach to fitness may leave you with injuries and more problems than it solves if you aren't in such good shape or have issues such as knee and/or joint problems since a lot of it's exercises are very intense on those areas.
However if you're a woman seeking the same results this workout provides, use a kettlebell instead. Their exercises are a lot easier to perform and don't hurt the joints. They are also ideal for female fitness. They also have incredible health benefits!
