Apparently there is a rumour going around that excess fat around the body, in particular stomach fat, can be, like, really bad for you. Well, I did some research, and this is what I found out.
The fat that we have in our abdominal area is twofold. There is the subcutaneous fat and the other is called visceral fat. Visceral fat is is the one that will give you that "beer gut" appearance where the abdomen juts out and makes you look like a grizzly bear.
Now, both these types of fat are BAD for the body and can be a serious risk to your health. Those science guys tell us that having excessive visceral fat can be even more harmful than subcutaneous fat. These fats increase the risk of contracting conditions like heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep disorders, various types of cancer and other related diseases.
If you are really conscious about the state of your well-being and of the welfare of those close to you, reducing your abdominal fat should be something on TOP of your priority list. There's just isn’t any way to dance around it.
Okay, so what can I do about it clever guy, you may ask? Well, I hate to tell you, but there is NO overnight, quick fix remedy. Also, there are not any magic pills or supplements of any type that are going to help you lose that extra fat in a very short time, regardless of what those drug companies tell you.
The ONLY way you are going to lose that stubborn belly fat and keep it off for good is with, yes, you guessed it, a proper, healthy diet full of natural, non-processed foods combined with a strategically designed exercise program that will stimulate the necessary metabolic and hormonal responses within your body.
What you need to understand is that any old workout routine will not be sufficient. Most people, with all good intentions, that do make an attempt at some sort of exercise program, may not be doing enough to effectively stimulate the loss of that extra stomach fat. You need to have a combination of a healthy diet in conjunction with a planned agenda that suits your individual needs.
The reason why many people do not succeed at reaching their projected fitness level, is that they will go all out at first but, after maybe a few short weeks, they do not see results and give up prematurely. They then go back to their old ways that gave them the extra fat originally.
What is recommended is that you start with a simple, easy program first, then, once you are feeling more confident, move on to a more advanced program to achieve the results you want.
Extra stomach fat is not only UNATTRACTIVE, but also poses a SERIOUS THREAT to your health. Take that affirmative action now and regain confidence in yourself as well as reduce the risk of acquiring a serious illness or condition.
It all comes down to three things:
• Regular exercise
• Healthy eating
• Focusing on your goal and achieving it
