Have you been looking for cheap chicken house plans? That is fine, I also look for cheap coop plans but only buy ones which are high quality. It may be hard to find a cheap coop plan that offers high quality but they are out there. You just have to know what to look for. In this article I am going to share what works best for me when I decide to buy a chicken house plan. So if your interested, lets begin

Cheap Chicken House Plans and the Right Size

So how many chicken do you plan to have? Do you plan of only have 2-3 or having more than 8? This is one of the first to things I always ask myself before I start looking for chicken coop plans. I need to know if I need a small, medium, or large size coop. So before you begun try to figure out what size coop you'll need. Another important factor to think about is, do you want a permanent coop in your yard or a portable one? There are cheap plans online that offer either option you prefer. These are some of the things I consider before actually buying a chicken house plan.

Building a Chicken Coop - How Easy are the Plans to Follow

So one thing I look for when buying chicken house plans are easy directions. I have seen some plans that were very difficult to follow because they often left out steps. I'm pretty sure now I would be able to figure out how to finish the coop incomplete plans now since I'm experienced, but as a newbie, its was very frustrating when plans left out steps. So when I look for chicken house plans, I usually look for ones that offer step-by-step instructions and also look to see if any other newbies had success with it.

Cheap Chicken House Plans - What Other Benefits Do They Offer

When comparing chicken house blueprints I usually look for what else they offer within the package. For example if I found two house plans I like and one offers how to winterize my coop, then I would most likely go for the one that will also show how to winterize the coop during the winter months. I happen to live in a place where the winters can be quite brutal so knowing how to keep my chickens warms is a bonus to me and I'll take the offer. So if you can, go for housing plans that offer more than just a plan. The coop designs I bought, also showed me the 10 deadly foods for chickens.

I hope I am able to help you choose cheap chicken house plans that will fit your needs. Just to go over things, First decide what size coop you will need, pick a easy to follow plan, and try to look for plans that offer more than just the basic blueprint.
