Fifty Shades Of Grey - #1 New York Times Bestseller List is it Worthy

In general, married women seem to be all over this book and giving 50 Shades of Grey its popularity and rise to fame. EL James has written a barnburner for sure, which doesn’t come without criticism, there seems to be no shortage of opinions on this book.

Can I say that this book was the literacy genius of Shakespeare, by far no; I found at times that it was very repetitive and the character Ana just could not get over the smell of her lover, we were repeatedly reminded of this. Among other instances that was just rinsed and repeated repeatedly, at times a bit hard to take.

I have read many reviews on Fifty Shades of Grey some raving that this book took them from boring sex to the most exciting sexual experiences of their lives.

Others saying this is the biggest bunch of dribble they have ever read and it has no merit to be # 1 in anyone’s circles.

I sit on the fence as far as my opinion on this erotic thriller well written not quite, does it take you on a ride through unknown territory and start giving you some ideas as you go, yes it does that.

The Interview

It starts out innocent enough with Katherine Kavanagh asking her best friend and roommate for a favour as she turned ill and would not be able to do the interview with a Mr. Grey, for the school paper. Anastasia Steele could never say no to her best friend, so she agreed to do the interview.

Mr. Grey is the CEO of Grey Enterprises Holdings, Inc, he is 27 years old and by all accounts is an Adonis as far as good-looking men are concerned, and he has what it takes. Not only is he extremely attractive he is wealthy to boot, a good combination.

Ana a bit of a clumsy college student manages to get inside without too much drama, and starts her interview with Mr. Grey. Ana immediately starts feeling overwhelmed by Grey's good looks and demeanor.

Ana realizes early in their meetings that Christian Grey is a control freak and wants everything his way or no way, he also seems to be a bit arrogant as well.

Attraction-Romance

Being from different sides of the tacks, the two unlikely characters Ana and Christian, have an attraction for each other, that keeps you thinking, why this dominance stance, what deep secrets is Grey keeping to himself.

Fifty Shades of Grey takes you into a very different world of sexual behavior, Christian Grey is a control freak, to say the least, this guy is twisted and there is no denying it.

Ana is young and impressionable a bit scared of the world that is in front of her, but is more than willing to step inside and take a look around.

The Game

Ana is stepinig into a world of unknown consequences and all the time is harboring a secret that only one person knows about it. In the mean time, Christian Grey harbours a real need to dominate his sexual partners in every faucet of their lives; he even has a contract made up, for Ana to sign.

As Grey tries to push Ana into this world of Dominance and Submissive, she pushes back with her own brand of changes. Grey as well as Ana is being pulled into different directions as there attraction continues to grow.

Christian admits that Ana is making him do things that he has never done before and his feeling for this young 21-year-old graduate is growing at every turn. In turn, Christian is taking Ana on a trip through a sexual world that most have no clue of, and so they should not.

In Conclusion

I’m not very accustomed to reading romance or erotica novels; it took a leap of faith for me to get down to finishing this first book of the Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy. I can see how it can start giving you thoughts, how could it not, some of the sex scenes just about put me off my stool.

Are you looking for a good book to read and you enjoy the way erotica novel, this can take you away into a different world of sexual pleasure. This novel I think covers the romance part of the infatuation that these two people felt for each other and was very touching, if you like that kind of stuff.

The sexual side of this adventure takes you into a world of Dominance and things that you would have only before read about, this bold adventure gives you the push to be just a little bad, that makes it so much fun.

Fifty Shades of Grey in my opinion has it rights to be on New York’s Bestselling list, as for as many that think this book is trash, there are thousands that disagree. Best way to get your head around what this book is actually about, read it.

Haven't read it. Strikes me as being sensational, but maybe I'm wrong. I'm more the Harry Potter type. Seem to be getting younger, not older. I hear they are making a movie of the Fifty Shades of Grey. With all the publicity, the audience will be huge. Thanks for the review. Congratulations for getting out of your comfort zone for a while.

I know Rob this type of book is not for everbody and I was not sure what to expect as I took on the challenge of reading it. I must admit it gave me a few surprisese and made even me take note and say that is just sick, but at the same time a bit exciting. It is just a catalyst to your imagination...and a look into a world most of us only see on TV but it does exist and that is the wierdest part of the equation....some folks live that way......different strokes for different folks I guess...by the way Mr. Grey....lol
