The Top Five Fantasy Books

Five: The Eye Of The World by Robert Jordon

The eye of the world is the first book and the Wheel of time series. When it was released fans did not know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised at Robert jordan’s wonderful new book. As with most fantasy there are two sides that fight in a never ending war. The dynamics of the people are marvelous and different from what the western culture is used to. Women are more dominant than men in most cases as men have broken the world in the past. In the eye of the world by Robert Jordon you really get a sense of what he saw when he wrote the book. That is why it made it into the top five.

Four: The Wizard Of Earth Sea by Ursula K. Le guin

The Earth Sea trilogy is an older set of fantasy novels but even today you can recognize the great writing style of Ursula. It is a story of a boy becoming a man and learning not only magic of how Life Works. You’ll travel to distant lands and experienced dragons, magic, love, and hate in The Wizard Of Earth Sea. Even though it’s an older novel I highly recommend it to those who love fantasy novels.

Three: Enders Game by Orson Scott Card

Enders Game is more of a science fiction novel than a fantasy but because it dwells in this same fiction world I decided to include it on the list. Enders Game is a story of a super genius child that is required to save the world from an alien species invading force. He’s been studied since birth with every moment recorded and analyzed just to bring him to one moment, to the last hope of humanity. The sheer genius of Orson Scott Cards writing in the Enders game keep you entranced for days.

Two: Elantris by Brandon Sanderson

Elantris is a standalone novel by Brandon Sanderson. It is an amazing story of how god’s can fall to something that is below mortal and how they can struggle to attain their lost Glory. Yet it is more than just that, it is a story of how people can change in instant and how cruel we really can’t be. Though there is cruel this parts to the story, there are also compassionate parts as well. Elantris by Brandon Sanderson is a must read for any fantasy lover and I feel that this could be a number one spot in some people’s hearts. I highly recommend the Audiobook version of Elantris as the narrator adds a new sense of life to the story.

One: The Way Of Kings by Brandon Sanderson

The Way Of Kings is several stories that combined into one epic masterpiece. You get to experience the life of the lowliest individual and of the highest prince with in this amazing novel. A brand new magic system was developed for this book and a brand new way of thinking is what you leave with when you’re finished reading it. The Way Of Kings by Brandon Sanderson is by far the number one fantasy book today. Make sure to read a full review Of The Way Of Kings.
