I have recently been talking about writing grants a lot. Since I gained the knowledge about this, I have pretty much spread the word to everyone I know. This is not something I usually do. But, because I have had such good luck and an overwhelming response I chose to continue. Even though grant writing wasn't exactly a hot topic among me and my friends.
I'm sure anyone reading this knows a little about grant. I'm sure you're all aware the government gives grants to individuals, groups, and organizations. We've all been tempted to try our "luck" at this but usually don't follow through. Those who did decide to pursue it usually felt they needed some help. If you dont know what you're looking for, or where to look its easy to feel that way. This is exactly what happened to me. Before this point in my life I didn't know anything about receiving grants. To be honest I didn't think I would even be eligible.
Fortunately for me I found some help. I started to look around and found people that do this for a living. You could actually hire someone to do this for you. I had no idea. So, that's what I did and I got my grant. This got my wheels spinning just a little. I needed to know more about how to write successful grants. I wanted to know if it was possible for me to do what he did. To my surprise it was possible. Not only was it possible it was highly beneficial. And it was easier to do than I thought.
The need for skilled grant writers is one that is in high demand. Writing a winning proposal is a skill that not every writer has. Most writers claim that out of every one hundred proposals they send in, about five of them are accepted. If those numbers are true then you can see how learning to write a good proposal is needed. The fact is there just is not enough grant writers to fill the need. There is even less that can write an educated winning proposal. I was lucky enough to get involved with someone that has many years of experience and has a true passion for helping people. This gives him one the highest acceptance rates in the industry. I am glad to have been taught by him.
In turn we decided more people should know about the knowledge we could offer. We wanted to make it easy and accessible to anyone who needed a new profession or groups that needed help raising some funds. I feel like we accomplished what we needed to make sure everyone that needed help, got help.
That is a little odd that you have people calling you saying you are approved. I don't know if you've already completed a grant proposal or not. If you didn't be sure not to give them any more information. And definitely don't give up. If you have any question you can to my author profile and get the Facebook link or contact us at our site. Good luck and thanks for reading.
