Catch The Big One And Do It Your Own Way

Your draw the rod back and let it go forward. Your bait and sinker fly out over the water and land near that overhanging branch. You let it sink a bit and then you gently lift the rod and begin to reel it in slowly. You feel the vibration and your lure as it slowly treads the water.

You’re after the big one that lives in that area. You know he lives there because you’ve tired many times to get him. As you wind in the line, you feel that slight tug that you know so well. You jerk that rod back and you’ve got him. You carefully reel him in and gently place the net under him so he doesn’t get away.

You’ve done this many times but this time it is different. You caught him on a lure you made yourself.

Yes, you can make your own lures and you can make them in some cases for under a dollar each. In addition, you do not need a kit. Most materials are available at your local hardware shop. The techniques are simple once you know the secrets.

This is not just for the popular bass fishing either. You can make lures for any type of fishing where lures work best and that is around the world.

How do pros like Rick Clunn and Kevin Van Dam win those tournaments consistently? They design and build their own bait. Rick Clunnis is known for a line of squarebill crankbaits, the RC range. These pros have, as some stage created what they know works. that includes lures and spinner baits.

I know you want to catch that largemouth bass that has been eluding you all these years, or win that that local bass fishing tournament. Why not make your own lure that you know is going to behave the way you know will catch that fish. You can buy molds for as little as 2 -5 dollars. Of course, the hooks and rings are readily available as well.

So, break out the tackle. Load the rods in the car and head to that favorite fishing hole you love so much. This time take your own designed and built lures. It might just do the trick this time.

Want to learn how to make you own lures easily and without spending a lot of money? Wouldn't you like to have the same advantage the pros have? Check our my how to do it website for more information.
