So I came across this really cool coat rack that would be a great gift for my daughter but she has four boys that are always on the move, between the lil ones moving through the house on their scooters and the older ones practicing their basketball skills; things get cluttered real fast!

This masterpiece was going to have to be sturdy and it had to be able to hold a lot of stuff! I came across this freestanding old-fashioned charmer that I just had to know more about it. The first thing that I noticed was that it could be a challenge to assemble.

I found out that the instructions were a one pager diagram with a picture. One review stated that if you enjoy putting puzzle pieces together you will enjoy assembling it. Another person said that if you organize the pieces before starting, it would be less challenging.

Someone said the knobs didn’t fit in tightly; another said it was missing a few parts and another said they had an extra piece leftover (I assembled a bike once and had that happen, ugh). The average time for assembly was about 15 to 30 minutes, although one stated it took an hour.

I became obsessed in the moment and dug deeper into this situation. I noticed a lot of people said the cast iron base was heavy and sturdy. It could hold 15 to 20 coats (wow) and one guy actually uses it for motorcycle gear and helmets!
