What was the last thing you finished? A radio or television show that you enjoy regularly? A cup of coffee? Your breakfast? Finishing a show that you love will allow you to learn how it ends. You will get to enjoy the funny scene at the end of your favorite sitcom, and you will get to hear the #1 song at the end of your favorite radio show. It is a good feeling to finish something because of the feeling of satisfaction that you get. Unfortunately, sometimes life gets in the way, and there may be things that you do not get to finish.
You might have to stay up late to write a paper for school, for example. The novel that you are enjoying, untouched for several days, sits on your nightstand. Do yourself a favor: when you have turned in your paper, unwind with some exercise, and then get back to your book. Reading a book that you enjoy will help you to relieve the stress that often comes with being a student. It will also give you some good reading material to indulge in, unlike academic reading material, which often tends to be dry. Work on finishing your book. You will get to enjoy a good story, and you will learn how it ends and what happens to the characters. In addition to finishing a book that you are reading, you should finish other projects that you have started.
Perhaps you started writing an article that you intend to publish online, but your writing was interrupted when you received a phone call. Get back to your article. You might even write the title of the article on the calendar on the day that you intend to publish your work. Writing it on the calendar will push you to have your work ready by the date that you set. It will also help you to earn money faster.
If you are cleaning out a room in your house, finish cleaning it, and arrange it in a way that will work for you. Once it is set up the way that you want it, you will have a room that you can use. You will then feel less stress when you go in there. Rather than feeling stressed out, you will instead be focusing on achieving your goals.
By finishing what you start, you will feel a sense of accomplishment. You will also have a more satisfying life.
