First I would like to say HAPPY NEW YEARS 2014 to everyone & I hope that you have plan your resolution & that you can stick to it. I have some NEW YEARS resolution too "Want to lose weight, find better a job/career, more time with family, etc.", well I'm not going to do that cause like most of us we either start & couple months later we fall back into are old ways or just don't even try at all, & to the one's that can keep your resolution I congratulate you.
The reason why I'm not doing my resolution is that me & my wife (another story I'll tell you guys about) we always sit down talk & write down what we are going to do for the New Year & just like you we had a lot that we want to do but we can never get it done. So we had say this year we're not going to try to have a resolution cause we can never stick to it, & so we had left it as that.
Now before I go any further let me tell you this little bit about me. I'm a 36 year old (just turn in Nov.) man who has been unemployed (since 2010) now going on four (4) years & yes I've been looking but were I live jobs are hard to find & if I do find work it's MUTT(Money Under The Table) then after a couple of months later they didn't need me anymore. I even went to work for my parents or should I say my dad witch he had a small & I mean small recycling business but he just didn't know how to run it well plus he could never pay me either so that got flush down too.
Any way back to the story when my family (wife, 2 kids, & me) went to my parents for Christmas my mom had pulled me & my wife to the kitchen & talked to me. She had offer me a deal or as I seen it a really good Christmas present to go back to school & get either my GED or High School Diploma & she'll pay for it all, now I'm thinking your lost. Back in the day I was one of those bad boys & always thought that I could get anything I wanted, & being that young & dumb teenager I ended up getting kicked out of school & I never looked back.
So being said I have decide to take mom up on her offer & told her I was going to go for my High School Diploma. Now after that I've change my mine on my New Years resolution I'm going back too school to get my diploma & if that doesn't get better she even offer me another deal my dream career. Now your thing what is your dream career.
Well for I don't know how many years I have always wanted to be a Realtor & flip homes the whole business of it, well most people can flip homes but most can't sell so that's why they have to pay a Realtor & yes you can sell your home as "Home For Sell by Owner", but let's be honest how long will your house sit there compare to a Realtor selling your home.
So anyway as for my story & I hope others see this is that maybe we shouldn't give up on our dreams but turn them into as our NEW YEAR resolution cause I know that for this man that is going to make me change & keep my resolution & maybe everything that I would like to have "Better job/career, Home, & more time with the Family, etc." can then fall into place. Hope my story can help someone & HAPPY NEW YEARS 2014.
