Stowamatic Continental Aluminium 3 Wheel Trolley Review

The Stowamatic Continental 3 Wheel Trolley is manufactured from the award winning Stowamatic brand. Stowamatic have earned a very good reputation for making lightweight yet robust push trolleys. The Continental trolley is no exception to this and is manufactured with a sturdy futuristic looking silver aluminum frame.

The Stowamatic Continental retails at €136 which is very good value for money. It also comes with a full 12 months manufacturer’s guarantee, so you can purchase from Cole Golf who are an authorized stockiest with piece of mind. There are also no delivery charges, so if you live anywhere on the island of Ireland this trolley can be delivered straight to your door in two working days for free.

The Continental model has two front air pumped rubber wheels with a plastic rear third wheel. The rubber tyres make the trolley easy to maneuver when a heavy cart bag is attached full of clubs. There is also a large soft grip handle that makes directing the trolley nice and straightforward.

The Continental 3 Wheel Trolley comes with a foot brake that can be applied by simply applying a little pressure with your foot. The foot brake is handy if you play on a hilly course as you don’t want your trolley going AWOLon you.

In terms of transportation the trolley folds down to a compact size of 102cm Long x 61cm Wide. The handle folds back into the frame, the frame and handle then fold together. The third rear wheel also folds in to make the trolley nice and compact when folded. This makes it easier to fit the trolley into the boot of the car, taking up less space.

Your bag is attached to the trolley with two adjustable Velcro straps. There is also a Stowamatic Cart Bag available that will match with your Stowamatic trolley. The Stowamatic Cart Bag comes with all the great features you would expect in a bag from Stowamatic.

There are lots of great additional features on the Continental model including as standard, an umbrella holder, a drinks holder, slots for your tees, a scorecard holder and a handy mesh pocket for storing your accessories.

The umbrella holder is a great additional accessory to have when the weather turns as all you have to do is open the brolley pop it into the umbrella holder and that will keep you and your clubs nice and dry. It’s like having your own personal caddy on the course to hold your umbrella for you.

A lot of golfers are starting to use the three wheel trolleys and they are becoming more and more popular on the course as there are no reliability issues. There is no battery so there is no chance of a battery dying on the 15th hole on you or the cost associated with replacing batteries or even repairing parts or fixing electric trollies. This three wheel push trolley is highly recommended if you are moving down from an electric trolley or even upgrading from your two wheel push trolley.

If you have any questions about this product do not hesitate to get in touch with us here at Cole Golf and we’ll be glad to assist you further.
