Park fencing may also be referred to as estate fencing as it is known for being used on large country estates to create boundaries and define areas of land. Park fencing has a number of different uses and the style you choose will depend on its intended purpose. For anyone who has ever visited a large park or country estate then you will have seen estate fencing being used to create pathways, line roads, create boundaries and fence in livestock or just to enhance the overall look of the grounds. Most park fencing tends to be black and this is the traditional colour that has always been used for estate fencing for many years.

Park fencing is very strong and to create a stable structure the installers will knock the fence posts deep into the ground. Park fencing is made from steel from and this is why it is a popular choice for livestock as it is strong and durable yet smooth so the animals can’t harm themselves on it. Most estate owners are keen to keep up traditions so will always replace their old estate fencing with like for like to keep the same look throughout the estate. Park fencing is usually charged per metre and you will need to know your exact size requirements to obtain an accurate price.

The park fencing posts are welded upright and the joins welded solid and the joins are staggered across all the posts to make the Estate Fencing as strong as possible. The design of park fencing is one continuous structure so it really needs to be made on site so it follows the curvature of the land. Most estate fencing follows the same design and has five rails with a post at every metre. If you require something a little different most park fencing manufacturers will be able to create bespoke fencing to your exact requirements.

If Park Fencing is being used to contain livestock such as cattle, sheep, deer or horses the spacing of the rails may need to be altered to ensure it is suitable to contain that particular animal without it being able to escape through the fencing.
