I have come to realize in life that everything can be proven and dis-proven, just read enough articles, books, blogs and talk to enough people and you will find amazing arguments to support your cause.
Much of what I believe to be true when it comes to hair loss restoration has become a reality and a belief through living a few simple principles.
Yes, I did read a lot of material on ways to restore hair loss before I truly became sold on changing my lifestyle, but it was all worth it!
My hair was thinning at a rapid rate and I was panicked. I didn’t want to be bald and I was scared!
I’ll be the first one to admit that I was a little skeptical on the ease of replenishing my hair growth and restoring my hair to a much healthier state.
I was convinced that I had some medical condition that was causing all of my hair loss; only to find I was my hairs’ worst enemy.
I had adopted a very stressful lifestyle. Sound familiar? I was working the clock around, working both ends of my day.
I was on multiple planes, in multiple time zones, and sometimes multiple countries in the same week. I tried to balance being a valuable employee while being “Super Mom” and “Super Wife”.
Looking from the outside in, I was succeeding, but from the inside out, I was dying on the vine.
I was exhausted, I wasn’t eating or sleeping properly, and my body began to wear down.
The first evidence of my hectic lifestyle was hair loss.
I learned that there were several things that I could change which were simple, affordable and very effective, to reduce my hair loss and replenish my hair growth.
Nothing magic, just basic common lessons we all learned early in life.
First, learn to play a little. Adopt a hobby, engage in relaxing activities, learn to enjoy some free time once in a while.
We have allowed ourselves to become so incredibly busy that we will do anything to avoid failure; including overbooking ourselves, living our jobs 24/7 (even when we aren’t there we can’t let go), and keeping up with the Jones’.
Stress causes the perfect environment for hair loss. Without proper rest and constantly living a tense life, our body breaks down and it affects our ability to rejuvenate and repair itself.
Second, eat right. Remember the food pyramid you learned about in grade school? It isn’t outdated!
Eating a balanced diet with a variety of fruits, vegetables, nuts, oils, meat, dairy and grains encourage healthy hair and scalp. Our hair and scalp need to be “fed” a variety of vitamins to battle the influences of our environment.
If you have food restrictions, supplement your diet. Most vitamins can be found in multiple categories of food products.
Third, stay away from chemicals. As we avoid chemicals in our hair care products, it gives our hair a greater advantage to grow in healthy and strong. Perms, hair coloring, shampoo and conditioners have many harsh chemicals that impact our hair health.
There are many brands of natural products on the market that are very affordable and work extremely well.
If you are serious and want to stop losing hair, these are a few very simple steps that you can adopt into your lifestyle. The best hair restoration secret I found was not only good for my hair, but my overall health and well-being!
Using natural treatment for hair loss just makes good sense.
Within weeks of modifying my lifestyle, my hair began to grow back in thick and healthy and best of all I felt incredible!
Making these simple changes in my life ten years ago made an incredible difference in my life and best of all, I’m still growing thick, strong and healthy hair!
I totally agree Anne13, it's never too late. I was surprised how quickly I was able to turn my hair loss around and get back on track. Thanks for the comment.
I agree that our hectic lifestyle causes undue stress and affects us in ways that can be avoided. Eating right, which is beneficial to our holistic health, can be so easy yet we make it difficult by trying to satisfy ourselves with all the wrong food choices. These bad habits eventually catch up with us and only serves to increases our stress when we realise what we have been doing to ourselvs all along. However, it is never to late to turn around and treat ourselves the way we should.
