Your shower is part of your daily routine. You might shower in the morning, before leaving for work or school, or perhaps you shower at night to wash off the dirt from your day. While you are soaping up your body and washing your hair, do you sing? There are reasons why you might want to sing while taking your shower.
If you shower in the morning, singing in the shower will get a good song stuck in your head. Therefore, when you head out the door on your way to work or school, you will hopefully be thinking about the song, rather than about the test you are about to take or the meeting you are about to have with your supervisor. You will be thinking about how much you like the song and possibly about where it currently sits on the Top 40 chart. If you are prepared for these events, you can face them with confidence. You can take your test, go to your meeting, and then get back to the music that you love. Along with singing during a morning shower, there is also a reason to sing during an evening shower: it will help you unwind from your day. After your shower, you should be able to get a good night's sleep, which will help you to be rested for the next day. You will go to sleep and dream sweet dreams, rather than having nightmares. You might dream of earning $1,000 from your blog, for example, or about getting a raise at work. Either dream should make for a great night's sleep and should help you to start the next day with a smile on your face.
Lately I have been singing Maroon 5's "Daylight" in the shower. I sing this song because I like its melody and because I like the song as a whole. This is not the only song that I would sing in the shower, however.
Another song I would sing is "Hall of Fame". I would sing this one because, like "Daylight", I like the melody of "Hall of Fame". I also like "Hall of Fame" 's message.
Singing in the shower is great fun and allows you to work on aspects of vocal training, such as pitch. However, be careful not to get carried away with your vocal activity, or you may wind up taking a cold shower and receiving a very high water bill.
