If Its Not Fun Why Do It?

If it's not fun then why do it? You won't achieve happiness doing stuff you hate.

While the above statement might seem like a no brainer, many people get into certain activities out of a sense of obligation to friends or family members. Like working out with a buddy as he needs a work out partner.

Or sometimes we stay in a job or a career or get into internet marketing as we see the money potential only to find out it wasn't something we don't like. You simply won't put the required effort into doing something if you're not having fun with it.

While there is something to be admired about stick-to-itiveness, after all quitters never really accomplish anything. There are few things worse than climbing up to the ladder of your occupation only to find it was the wrong ladder. You may find that while you're there in body but you have quit in mind and spirit.

Perhaps the fear of leaving your job for better potential rewards is why you're sticking with it. It has been said that the thing you fear most is what you most need to do. Don't take that to meaning that because you fear jumping in front of a bus that you should do it.

Many employment counsellors will be able to help guide you through and aptitude test.

While we all know the importance of physical fitness, if you don't enjoy weight training don't do it just because a friend needs a workout partner. Find an activity you enjoy doing and stick to that to achieve your fitness goals.

And if you do decide to get involved with internet marketing the same guideline applies here. Find something you're passionate about and that can still be profitable. Wealthy Affiliate provides amazing instruction on how to do this so I won't take the time here.

To be sure life is too short to spend it doing something you don't enjoy doing. If you dread the sound of the alarm clock in the morning ans have to drag yourself out of bed to get to work it's a sign that something's wrong.

Perhaps you're hungover or perhaps or didn't get enough sleep. But it might be something else altogether. You might need a change in scenery or a new challenge to bring the fun back in life.

So go out and make it a great day that way you can have your cake and eat it too.
