My Bucket List

Death is a part of life. We see and hear about death every day in movies and television shows. Newspapers cover stories of car accidents, plane crashes, and various other accidents in which people are killed. Lives are cut short, and loved ones are forced to deal with the loss of one of their own. Many people may have difficulty dealing with the idea of their own death. To make the concept of their own death a bit easier to cope with, many people may choose to focus on what they want to do before they die. They then create what is known as a bucket list. Here is mine.

One thing I would like to do before I die is earn at least $1000 from my blog. I have finally found work that works for me, and I am tickled at how well it is going and how happy I feel. I look forward to writing each day. I do not dread it, the way many people dread going to work. If I could earn $1000 (or preferably more) from my blog, my husband and I could live a good life. I could then leave the money to my loved ones so that they could live good lives as well. I have younger sisters who want to go to college, and the money would really help them out.

Second, I want to publish at least 1000 articles. I am hoping to use my blog to enter the public speaking field, and 1000 articles should get me on my way.

Third, I want to learn to drive. I am nervous about driving, but if I take my time and learn at my own pace, I believe I will do alright. Learning to drive will improve my confidence. I will feel better if I am not so dependent on others.

Fourth, I want the chance to go metal detecting. Many people enjoy this hobby, but I have yet to experience it. I want to feel the excitement that other people feel when they find something really cool, like a ring.

Fifth, I would like to see "Sister Act" on Broadway. I love the story and the music. I enjoyed the movie, and I would like to see it on stage. I think it would be very interesting to see how the stage production differs from the movie.

Sixth, I want to meet George Lopez. I am a fan of his sitcom, "George Lopez", and I am also a fan of the movie "Marmaduke", in which he does the voice of Carlos, the cat.

Seventh, I would like to see Pink in concert. It would be a great show with all of her awesome songs.

Next, I would like to travel around the world, trying each country's coffee. I love coffee, and I think it would be interesting to compare coffee from one country to another. In addition to enjoying each country's coffee, I would also like to buy a Barbie from each country.

Finally, before I die, I want to go to Confession so that I can go to Heaven. I am human, and I do make mistakes. For the most part, I believe that I have been good. I want to make sure that I do not die in a state of mortal sin.

This is my bucket list. What about you? What dreams do you want to fulfill before you die?
