The Japanese market has just released the Sanwa 400-PRJ011 micro projector case. This micro projector fits onto your iPhone and is able to project images, videos, games, and all sorts of multimedia stuff on your wall. Plus it acts as a battery charger as well. How cool is that?!
I can already imagine businessmen preparing their presentations and just bringing their iPhone with them together with this micro projector case on a meeting. Everything seems to get smaller these days.
You could even share something with your friends on your iPhone, like a movie or maybe some pictures of your recent holiday vacation in Hawaii (or whatever you want to brag about!;p).
Here are some specs and features that you may want to know about this device.
It is powered by a 2100 mAh battery which can be used to charge your iPhone when the projector is turned OFF. It will not however use your iPhone's battery, so you can be sure that it doesn't drain your iPhone's battery life which isn't enough for your iPhone alone. Your iPhone battery has 1420 mAh, so it has a slight advantage to that. The micro projector has a charge time of approximately 5 hours.
It is said to provide 2.5 hours of steady projection. It throws an image on the wall of up to 65 inches in size and has a resolution and contrast ratio of 640 x 360 and 1000:1 respectively.
This device connects to your iPhone through the dock connector and comes with a USB cable for charging. It is compatible with the iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S.
The device uses an LED for lighting which can give you up to 20,000 hours of life.
The ability to charge your iPhone aside from making projections is really a plus for me. Almost everyone who has an iPhone is looking for something to extend their battery life. And with 2100 mAh battery capacity this can sure double your iPhone's battery life.
Now I know that the battery charging ability of this device is not its main feature, but in most cases you won't be always using your projector. So adding this feature allows you to have a reason to bring it with you at all times. Because with all the things you can do with your iPhone nowadays , a device that extends your battery life is a must!
The good thing is that when you have this thing, you don't need to buy an iPhone battery extender anymore because it has one already. So you do get two things in one when you buy this, which adds more value to it.
A global release date has yet to be announced, so if you're looking to get one of this then stay updated for future announcements.
Yeah, i heard about that too Kyle. But i think they're still in the testing stage because the projector keyboard isn't really working very well yet. I've read an article about it saying that it was too hard to use the keyboard and usually it printed the wrong words that the user was typing. But eventually they will find a better solution for that. The other things i heard rumors about is the Near Field Communication (NFC) that's gonna be integrated in the iPhone 5. I look forward to how they're gonna implement this technology.
Yeah, will be interesting to see how an projected keyboard pans out. Logically it doesn't make a lot of sense as to how it will work or the purpose of it (people are going to much prefer using on screen or they will use their iPad). NFC will be very interesting and opens a whole new app set!
