A Few Notes On Mens Fitness After 60

Up to the point of irreversible degeneration, men continue to get stronger while their endurance drops like a stone! This is just one of several challenges facing men in the septuagenarian part of life. Other than that, some have never even thought about taking general physical maintenance, much less taking the time to build something that is worth maintaining in the first place! If you fit into the afore mentioned category, all is not lost. Though you body works on "muscle memory" for the most part, it can still be induced to make a few positive changes. The big problem in the western world fat! Not too many people reach sixty)without encountering a weight gain issue at some point. This is the most common detriment to living a full life in our later years.

The amount of time and effort expended towards our goal must fairly small, as most of us are still working, so I will just hit on the important facts. Just taking on going to the gym every day (or whatever schedule you can swing) is pretty hard for most folks. Then making a sort of Hobby out of reshaping ones self is not something that people look forward to without a change of view. The benefits will come if you are patient and keep the focus though, and they are always worth it! See the sweat and strain as part of a greater plan and not an end in itself.

What we want to do here to build a lightweight, strong Body that is nice to wear, so bulk up stuff (If anybody out there still has that are strong enough joints to handle a Bench "Max out"!) is out of the question. In general, women are more attracted to a lean, sharply defined male body than they are to one that was created just for massive size. This is a different approach, and a healthier way to reconstruct ones self. And, other than the slight inconvenience of lighter eating, It is the most logical approach to the problem.

Outside help! Testosterone balancing is the most important part of all this, Use of supplements other than Test and the recommended other medically prescribed chemicals only be used on an “as needed” basis. I would not recommend taking Human Growth Hormone along with test as it will cause some serious health problems. “Cycling” the HGH would help, but unless you are very weak I would have to discourage using this chemical. Oral supplements should only be taken if they are seriously needed. As they tend to contain High Fructose Corn Syrup and many other nasty, fattening things. One exception would be drinking a glass casein mix before bed. Try not to buy the sweetest tasting one either! The casein will cut down on catabolism of your new muscles while you are sleeping and let you keep them a bit longer!

Getting started on the first day of the rest of your life is a true task, but, at least for me. It is “what else you gotta do” this is just a general presentation of some of the little things that I have picked up along the way. Oh! Never ever get into any kind of low testosterone treatment on your own! There are many good clinics out there who specialize in this procedure! Body hair removal, diet, cardio vascular training and general presentation are part and parcel to a new image as well.
