A Six Pack Abs Secret to Success!

So what is the secret? Surely, if there was any six pack abs secret, it would be public knowledge by now, right? WRONG! That is what makes it a secret! I admit, this is one of those secrets that hide in plain sight. This fact does not make it any less of a secret, perhaps more so. It is a very basic technique that we all do but never truly take note of. It is a part of our every action, including when we fail to act. So what is it?

VISUALIZATION!

Visualization is the single most important thing you should be doing in the gym. You have to know your body and know the movements it makes to train effectively. Most people learn this without realizing it- they simply train for long enough that visualization techniques become second nature to them. Sure, you could do that too, but why not take the easier route and make a conscious effort to practice visualization techniques on a daily basis?By doing this, you not only put yourself on the fast track to six pack success, you greatly increase your potential!

So how effective is it? If you have ever shot a gun or bow and arrow or something of that nature, if you had a good teacher they would have told you to visualize the projectile as it travels and hits the target. And what happens? Your aim improves dramatically! You might not think it, but this applies directly with abdominal training.

When you do crunches, you need to put your mind on your abs and feel where the tension is. Once you can find the tension you can move the tension with slight body adjustments. In this way, you can target your abs with pin-point accuracy. This is valuable when you want to work on a weak point or tweak the shape of your abs to your liking.

The second use of visualization is to go past your limits of strength and power. Instead of seeing yourself as a frail and fragile human, visualize your body being that of a god; unbreakable and massively strong. Focus hard on this and you will find that your natural limitations seem to become more vague as your body reaches for that picture you have in your mind. See yourself as strong and you will become strong.

These are powerful techniques once you learn how to properly use them. It will take some time to adjust to using them and more time to master them but it will be worth it! Stay motivated and work hard!
