Habit #2: You eat on a big pretty plate. It’s cute to eat on those big pretty plates that you have in the cabinet, but eating on those plates can force you to eat more than you really want or should. On a big plate it’s natural to fill the plate up with a good size meal and then to feel obligated to eat it all. If you use a smaller plate, you will feel like you are eating more while actually eating less.
Habit #3: You drink only zero calorie sodas. Drinking zero calorie drinks causes you actually to eat more “sweets” later. The artificial sweeteners in zero calorie drink cause an unnatural craving to eat more sweets in your other meals, thus you end up eating more sugars than you would have if you hadn’t had zero calorie sodas. Goal is to cut sodas as best as you can all together.
Habit #4: You only do low stress exercises. There is the saying that your body responds to stresses upon it. That means that if you put your body under “good” stress it will respond in a good way. Lifting light weight is one of those good stresses that your body needs to stay fit and stop weight or fat gain. You will burn more calories during and post workout.
