Stomach fat is easy to get, but very hard to lose. It’s a fake stubborn organ that expands in your body as time passes. It is constantly knocking on the front door of your body every time you eat certain foods. Once you let it in, it’s very hard to get rid of. Stomach fat does not help your body in anyway. If you sit down and do nothing, that stubborn stomach fat will take over your body and your life. It makes you lethargic, and it disfigures your body by turning it into something only a mother could love. Stomach fat sucks your energy away like the sun sucking up the water from the concrete on a very hot day.
Stomach fat doesn’t only live in front of your abdomen; it also lives around your vital organs where it may pose a great threat to your health and overall quality of life. Now, the body shouldn’t be totally without fat. Your body actually needs some fat. When it comes to the body it’s all about location, location. The fat just under the skin in the abdomen and other parts of the body is called the subcutaneous fat. Further deeper inside your body, within the abdomen and around the vital organs the fat is called the visceral fat. A simple difference between the two types of fat is that subcutaneous fat is visible to the naked eye, and visceral fat is invisible to the naked eye.
Where the body stores fat depends on your genes, and lifestyle habits, but often times fat gravitates to the abdomen; Too much fat can lead to multiple health issues such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes and certain types of cancer just to mention a few.
People should not let stomach fat or the fat in other parts of the body control their lives. They should do all that is necessary to send that stubborn stomach fat “a packin”. Changing you eating habits is the first step, followed by exercising. Combining these two is a great start. Making the decision to take action starts in the mind; getting rid of the fat won’t happen overnight. Losing the fat will take patience, habit changing, and most importantly persistence. Remember, you didn’t gain it overnight; therefore you won’t lose it overnight. Every journey begins with the first step, and for some people this is the hardest thing to do. What’s important is that you take that first step and keep stepping every day until you achieve your goal.
