Do Not Get A Tattoo

Have you been thinking about getting a tattoo? Some of your friends have them, and the tattoos look really cool. You want to fit in with them. You want them to like you. You think to yourself that if you get a tattoo, you might be invited to go out with them, rather than having to sit at home and miss out on all of the fun while they go out. Getting a tattoo is a bad idea, however.

One reason not to get a tattoo is because of the very real possibility of disease. Life is precious. You want to be around to enjoy it. Do not risk your life by coming in contact with a dirty needle and contracting a disease.

Another reason not to get a tattoo is because this is a painful procedure. Most people do not like pain. They get their vaccinations to protect themselves and give blood to save lives but otherwise prefer to experience as little pain as possible. If you do not get a tattoo, you will not have to experience this pain.

Third, tattoos are expensive. Most people are struggling to get enough money to survive. They have bills to pay and gas and groceries to buy. Tattoos are expensive to get. Then, later, if you decide to have the tattoo removed, the removal is also expensive. You can save yourself some money by not getting a tattoo.

Fourth, many workplaces want to present a certain image. If you have tattoos, you may be required to cover them, either with clothing or with bandages. You can save yourself hassle, expense, and employment issues if you avoid getting a tattoo.

Another reason not to get a tattoo is because it can cause problems in your relationships. If you were in a relationship with a girl or boy, got the person's name tattooed on you because you thought you would be together forever, later ended the relationship and started a relationship with someone else, the new person may have felt threatened. He may have wondered if you still had feelings for the other person and planned on going back to him. This is another situation that can be avoided if you do not get a tattoo.

If you still want one, however, the rub-on variety is available. These are found in some vending machines and are easily applied to the skin. You and your friends can enjoy them for as long as you like. Then, when you are finished with them, simply wash them off. This kind of tattoo will not endanger your health or cause problems with work or relationships. Once it has been washed off, you will be left with the same beautiful skin that you started with.
