One of the most popular ambitions of our generation is looking good and living longer. We all know that looking good takes hard work. Fat loss and burning calories does not have to be hard work. In fact,
we can burn calories and loose fat in a smart easy, and healthy way. Sure exercises can make us loose
fat and burn calories. But the most important thing we have to do is weigh our fat loss against calories.
The knowledge of how much calories we want to burn and how much fat we want to loose will lead us to the best exercises to choose.
What is our Normal Body Weight
A lot of people focus solely upon burning calories to loose weight but forget that the reduction of intake play a key role also in the process. All exercises burn calories. So the best way to pick the one you want
is to know how much calories you want to burn. To begin, you must know the ideal weight for a person your height, then find out your daily caloric need or what is called Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR)
The rule of thump is that you must eat about 500-1000 fewer calories every day than your body needs
coupled with these exercises.
What Exercises Burn More Calories
30 minutes of running (10 min./ mile) burns about 270 calories
-
Swimming for 30 minutes burns about 297-350 calories
-
Jumping rope at a fast pace burns 300-400 calories
-
Cycling for 30 minutes burns 200-250 calories
-
Cardio class (high Impact) burns 300 calories
How Much Calories do I Need to Burn
Experts say that 3500 calories is equal to 1 pound of fat. Set yourself a goal, say for instance, you want to loose 1 pound in a week. That means that in that week of 7 days you must consume 3500 less calories than your body needs for that week. It is not rocket science if you already know what your body needs. A lot of people complain how hard they exercise but no results to show in weight loss
but they fail to mention how many calories they took in in excess of body need.
What I have Been Saying
The crux of the matter is that it does not matter whether we want to use equipment for exercises or not,
which exercises we want to engage in as long as we know our normal daily calorie need, if we want to loose weight, we must take in fewer calories daily than our body need is. Some people say 500 fewer calories. The important thing here is that you must not take in less than 1200 fewer calories daily unless recommended and supervised by your doctor. What ever we do, we must combine dieting and exercise
to get the best results.
Good luck
