Getting a six pack fast is no easy feat! Just because you want to do it quickly does not mean that this will be easier. Quite the contrary, actually. Muscle building is nothing but a reaction to stressors, permissible with good nutrition and plentiful food. If your body doe not think that it is worth it to build a little muscle, it wont! So you see, training is all about giving your body a gentle nudge(or a hard shove) in the right direction.
You can start by cutting out all processed foods! Just so you know, this includes ALL bread and ALL pasteurized dairy products. These are more macro-nutrition than they are micro. You should be getting your macros and your micros at the same time for food to even be worth eating!
Take long breaks between meals! You will want to avoid snacking too. Constantly having something in your stomach keeps blood in your intestinal tract and not flowing through your muscles like it should be! Taking breaks from eating makes your body much more efficient at digesting food and, more importantly, it increases your insulin sensitivity- meaning you raise your metabolism! Metabolism simply means the speed with which our body performs when it comes to nutrients. In this case, a raised metabolism means you will build muscle AND burn fat faster! Is metabolism not the best thing ever?
In the gym, go hard! Do the difficult exercises and aim for the pump! If you`ve never felt the pump before, you are missing out! It feels like your muscle is pushing out on your skin so hard it could burst through! Well, maybe that is a bad way to put it... but it is very awesome and you should always aim for the pump if you want results! Make sure that you hit your abs from all sorts of angles- this can mean the difference between just having abs and being well on your way to absolute perfection as ordained by your unique genetics!
Also, if you must train every day, go hard one day and take it easy the next too before another hard day. This way you can keep your abs activated and maintain good blood flow- the key to muscle growth. Do not do repetitive hard days as it will be a waste of time! Your body needs some time to build up and reach the next level before being pushed again. Ofcourse, having great nutrition is a great way to speed up this process!
If you are in average shape, expect to develop abs within the second week, expect to have truly impressive abs after 3 solid months of hard training! 3 Months might seem like a long time, but after that all you have to do is maintain with a few sessions a week. Happy training!
