Many people may think that the idea of someone being too tired for sex sounds very strange. How can anyone be too tired when they are about to do something that will feel so good? Believe it or not, however, it is possible to be too tired.
If you and your spouse are students, for example, you may have both spent the day working busily to complete a research paper. You did research, added some length to your paper, and added in your citations. You took breaks, of course, rather than sitting at your computer for eight hours straight. You went running, which helped to relieve the stress of the paper and helped to energize you so that you could continue your work.
Then you went back to your paper, working steadily until you had done enough on it to put it away for the night without putting yourself in danger. At last, you saved your paper, closed your computer, and then you and your spouse went to get ready for bed. You brushed your teeth, washed your faces, and then you went to bed.
You had been looking forward to some foreplay followed by some great sex, but after your day, you were exhausted. Instead of having sex, however, you kissed each other goodnight and went to sleep. When couples do not have sex, they miss out on a chance to get closer to each other and to be creative. They also miss out on a great experience. There are at least a couple of things that you can do to avoid being too tired for sex.
First, exercise. Working out when you come home from work or school will help you to work off the stress of your day and energize you for the evening. You might be planning on publishing articles while watching television, for example. Your workout should give you the energy for many great articles, which will translate into great earnings for you.
Second, go to bed before midnight. If you go to bed at midnight, you will likely be very tired. You will probably want to go straight to sleep. If you go to bed before midnight, on the other hand, you may have the energy for some great lovemaking. You will both feel good during lovemaking, and you will anticipate and really enjoy the best part: the orgasm.
By exercising and going to bed before midnight, you can avoid being too tired for sex. Then you and your spouse can go to bed and make love, and then go to sleep and dream sweet dreams.
