Iwant Six Pack Abs!

You can want anything in the world but that will not bring you any closer to it. Desire for something you are not actively pursuing is like a smoldering fire-you need to IGNITE and get moving before anything happens! You should always be on the lookout for inspiration and motivation to keep you moving forward in the tough times and the times of doubt. Remember that training muscle will not make it bigger immediately afterwards-it can take as long as a week so do not get discouraged! To say"Iwant six pack abs!" is not enough. You need to take ACTION and do it often and consistently. You need to plan ahead and also improvise when your plans inevitably fall apart from time to time. Most importantly, you have to learn to jump right back in with renewed passion when you meet with a bump on the road. Fall down seven times, stand up eight!

Be mindful when you train. Training time is a time for introspection and meditation on your emotions, not a time to yammer on about something that you do not really care about or some gossip that has nothing to do with you and your ambitions. If people do not like you for this, so be it. You can blast on ahead of them and watch as they grow jealous and spiteful of your "good genetics." Do not waste your time on them and only help them with their training when asked(and you feel like it/actually like the person).

Mindfulness is useful because it is easier to know what to expect when you are training. With an unstable mentality, your results will be very inconsistent and your methods will improve very slowly. Mindfulness will teach you to improve in both mind and body with every workout. In the journey to six pack abs, it is those who can continue to walk forward steadily and not in bursts of forward and backwards progress that will make it. It is a simple matter of sticking with it to the very end.

This "very end" will likely not be what you expected, however. Once you have a taste for self discipline and planning and success, you will not be able to stop yourself from going even further! Remember that to do this long term, it is your mind that needs improvement before the body. Study, apply, and study some more and you will succeed!
