I've been trying to trim down lately, very much wanting to go back to my previous and lightest weight at a hundred and ten pounds. I've been meaning to exercise but never had the time. Plus, my running shoes have worn out. I need to buy me a new pair.
I was in 3rd year college when I joined a pageant in school and I trimmed down to my lightest in 8 years-- 110lbs. I solved my Body Mass Index (BMI) and it told me that if I lost a pound more, I'd been underweight.
Anyway, I'm going to tell you how I got in my slimmest in a month's time. I had to consider a lot of things- diet, sodas, milk, sugar, rice, carbohydrates, et cetera.
No Meals After Six
You may have heard this several times before and it's true! Our body's metabolism is fast during day time and starts to slow down at night. So eating before 6pm means better digestive processes than when it's past 6 pm.
Get Rid of Too Much Sugar
I love eating sweets! I love chocolates, desserts and adding another tablespoon of sugar just when I think it's already sweet. I hate having to taste bitter cups of coffees or less sweeter hot chocolates.
Thus, if you want to begin this diet, you're just going to have to do away with sweets and quit adding unneeded sugar into your diet. Sugar consists of empty calories- calories you do not need and is very difficult for the body to digest.
Choose Low-fat Milk Products
You can just imagine that drinking low-fat or even non-fat milk can save you a lot of calories as compared to whole milk. Whole milk can give you ask much as 160 calories and 9 grams of fat per glass.
Reduce Your Carbohydrate Intake
Keep track of your usual carbohydrate intake and lessen it so you get better chances of slimming down. If you continue this, your body may come to a point wherein it already burns your stored fats. However, don't eat lesser than 1,050 calories because this will lead to slower metabolism. This happens due to the body's attempt to conserve nutrients in the body.
Drink Plenty of Water
Drinking plenty of water can help one to feel full without the unwanted fats and calories. Also, drinking a glass of water before each meals helps in preventing one to eat too much.
Eat Fruits as Snacks
Eating fruits is a lot healthier than eating bread or pastries as snacks. Fruits are very high in fiber and will allow frequent defecation. Thus, it eliminates toxins and prevent further absorption of ingested food in the body to be later on stored as fats.
Here are so far my list of diet regimen to slim down without having to go to the gym. Just keep these things in mind and you're off to a slimmer body.
