The human body is a very efficient machine. It can take in a raw materials (foods), extract the consumable fuel (calories) and burn it during activities. The excess fuel gets deposited in the body’s natural fuel tank, called adipose tissues or fats, and reserved for future use when food gets scarce. But with today’s society, food scarcity don’t always happen. Also with today’s technologies, daily physical activities are reduced significantly, under the pretense of convenience. In other words, less fuel gets consumed and more gets deposited, hence the notion of getting fat.
Losing that extra pounds can be tiring. You’ll have to make regular visits to a fitness gym, cut back on foods, eat less caloric ones especially those rich in sugar, among many others. But many abuse this approach by eating too little or none at all! They even get to the point of aiming 100% calorie avoidance just to speed up weight loss. This is just wrong. They’re just destroying the irreplaceable machine that is the human body.
If you look closely, the best thing one can do to have a speedy yet safe weight loss is not by cutting back on food, but by choosing foods that are more nutritious but with less calories. This most likely refer to fruits and vegetables. And also, water intake boosts the body’s metabolism, leading to burning of more fuel and using up those that are stored in the fats.
Infusing fruits and water make things even better. By having water taste like your favorite fruits, you’ll tend to drink more than the usual without you noticing it. And all the goodness of those fruits get extracted from the pulp and into the water by means of osmosis. You’re basically extracting out the juice from the fruit in order to make tasty infused water. Unlike fruit juices made with powdered concentrates, infused water retains most of the nutrients from the fruit due to the much less intense juice extraction method. And natural fruits mean natural sugars, which corresponds to less calories.
Bottom line is, no other weight loss approach is better than going natural. Replace meals, don’t skip on it. And drink plenty of water. If needed, do fruit infusion with water instead of using powdered fruit-juice. Just go natural, you’ll then have a weight that’s certainly natural for you.
