The Path to Getting Six Pack Abs

For those who are serious about it, the path to getting six pack abs stops being a hard and long one and starts to be a day by day warpath. In order to do this, you need to start thinking that it is easy. Your mind is a strange thing; if you repeat something over and over, in a way, it becomes true. This is because your mind is what controls your actions and it does what it believes is in your best interest. You just have to make a convincing argument as to why you want six pack abs and your mind will take care of the rest.

In the end of the day, doing anything difficult(and rewarding) comes down to the direction you point your mind in. Your mind will try to veer off course when it sees great difficulty with no end in sight. When this happens, you have to be prepared to correct it and set yourself on the right path once again. There really is no secret to this. When your mind asks "is it all worth it?" you need to be ready with a convincing argument or your mind WILL break.

The mind leads the body but the body nourishes the mind. Eat a diet with balanced, complete nutrition to keep your mind in tip-top shape. It also helps to eat some fat as it keeps blood glucose stable. Blood glucose levels have been proven to be directly correlated with will power. Having a moderate amount of blood sugar will also get you through tough workouts without being completely drained throughout the second half like you would be had you eaten carbs.

You need protein to build muscle. There is no way around this and the best protein comes from meat. The best meat to eat is chicken and the best slice of chicken is chicken breast. The is only when it comes to the meat you find on supermarket shelves, however. Organic, or even better, WILD meat is on a whole different level and is almost always the better choice when it is available. The taste is many times better and the nutritional levels are incredible. You will feel amazing and full of life after eating hunted wild meat.

You need vegetables to cover the gaps in nutrition that meat leaves behind. The best vegetables for the job are green veggies!
