RAW FOODISM – eating only (or mostly not-) processed food.
This is for those who decided to get rid of sickness, get strong health, energy and feeling of completeness of life.
For those who are ready to use practical methods of spiritual growth.
Usually when people talk about raw foodism the word “enzymes” is mentioned. The enzymes are energy. The enzymes are life. We’re not able to see the enzymes with the naked eye, but we are able to see a result of their actions – life and energy. For example – I can take two almonds – one is raw, while another is fried. If I put them in the ground in three weeks the fried one will get rotten, the raw one will remain where I’ve put it in. In spring when snow will melt life power will be awaken in the raw almond and it potentially it can grow into an almond tree. As you can see the difference between fried and raw almonds is in between life and death. One of them has the enzymes another one doesn’t. One of them has a potential life another one doesn’t. If I bring those two almonds to the scientist for analyze he wouldn’t see any difference between them: there is equal amount of calcium, potassium, sodium, magnesia, zinc and copper in both of them. But as it has been already said one of them contains the enzymes and has life in it, the other one doesn’t.
For better understanding of the enzymes’ work let’s imagine an apple garden. You want to eat an apple but they all are still green and hiding under the leaves, it’s not easy to spot them, and they don’t have this special smell yet. You come back to this garden in a month and you see these huge red apples having this delicious smell. They kind of tell you: “Spot me, smell me, eat me”. And you get this understanding that from apple’s point of view to be eaten by an animal or a human is a continuation of living. You reach your hand and pick a big red apple. You start to eat it. This apple is fulfilled with the enzymes. While you are enjoying its taste the enzymes (which remind craftsmen with cases full of wonderful healing tools) start to work. While you are walking in the garden the enzymes like a healing team are working on a repair of your body. You feel yourself great and full of energy because that apple had the enzymes in it helping your digestion. Your body doesn’t have to make any efforts to break down this apple. Later on the apple leaves your body in a form of fertilizer and continues to live. Therefore you take part in a circulation of life cycle. Everything moves in a circle.
In a week you come back to the garden to get some apples. You bring them home to bake them in an oven the way your granny did. You cover them with caramel and cinnamon and put them inside an oven. Baked apples look like they are from a picture a smell fantastic. They seem like they are as nourishing as the apple you picked and ate a week ago. But this is not true. All the enzymes were destroyed while those apples were baking in the oven.
You bite this sweet baked apple, caramel and cinnamon stimulate your taste sensors making you feel pleasant. You’ve finished eating, you decided to lay down because you feel tired and sluggish. Your own enzymes have to stop working on cleansing your liver, protecting your tumors or evacuating waste products in order to help you to break down those baked apples, which has no enzymes left. When finally those apples leave your body they are filled with your own enzymes. Those enzymes are lost forever. Boiled food does not contain live enzymes therefore it takes your own enzymes to be digested.
Doctor Edward Howell suggests that average a 40-years old person has only left 30% of reserved enzymes. At the same time we keep walking, talking and thinking. It means we can survive physically but not spiritually.
But not everything is lost. Even with 30% enzymes left we can fully live the life that we have left if we turn ourselves into raw food nutrition and let our body cleanse itself.
