Treatments For Heart Disease- Coconut Oil Miracle

Heart disease for many of us, seems like a problem that we just have to live with. We have all been a part of a conversation where someone makes a heart attack joke and everyone laughs about it, even though it really isn't funny at all. There are so many causes of heart disease around us that we almost just take for granted that a heart problem very well might be the end for us.

I personally think that this is ridiculous because there are a plethora of lifestyle choices that we make on a daily basis that could be considered treatments for heart disease. Doctors are quick to really lay into our diets for example. What they are telling us really shouldn't be that hard to follow, but society tells us that it isn't possible to slow down and eat healthy. In fact, society gives us the opportunity at every turn to eat something that is absolutely terrible for us, thus putting peer pressure at the very top of the list for causes of heart disease.

Today I would like to offer one of the best treatments for heart disease that I have come across. Extra virgin coconut oil! Now, without getting too technical and crazy, I would like to briefly talk about what some actual causes of heart disease that we encounter today. I will also talk about some research that has come up over the past few decades that really piqued my interest and lend coconut oil as being one of the best treatments for heart disease out there.

Causes Of Heart Disease

Firstly, anyone who has been to the doctors office knows at least something about heart disease and how it works. It is so prolific that reading material and posters are always littering the walls at medical practices. There are many causes of heart disease but the important physiological marker for heart disease is the hardening of arteries.

The hardening of arteries, or arteriosclerosis, happens when there is inflammation or damage to the artery walls. These things are commonly thought to be the result of toxins, free radicals, bacteria, and viruses that find their way into the blood stream. Generally speaking, the toxins and free radicals in the blood stream can very much be controlled by our diet, thus our doctors lecturing us until they are blue in the face.

Studies Open The Door For New Treatments

So where does coconut oil come in on the grand scheme of treatments for heart disease? Another area of study, that has cropped up over the course of the last several decades, is focusing more on the bacterial and viral causes for inflammation of the arteries. Several studies have actually gone in and taken samples of the plaque, which ultimately builds up in arteries and causes the hardening, and found that there was trace amounts of bacterial infections that the person had previously suffered from.

This is groundbreaking because we had prior to this not really placed much emphasis on the bacteria and virus side of arterial hardening. It is now though by some researchers that if we could do more to eliminate bacterial infections, that heart disease would be a thing of the past. No one is saying that this is the end all of solutions, but many believe that it will be a major step.

Treatments For Heart Disease

This is where coconut oil enters the equation. If you have read any of my other articles, you know that coconut oil does many wonderful things for our bodies. One major action that the saturated fat in coconut oil takes in our bodies is to help us combat free radicals. That gets us through one of our four causes of heart disease right off the bat. We also know that coconut oil, when it is combined with our bodies chemistry, acts as an antibacterial and antiviral agent! Number three and four from our causes of heart disease are now gone, all thanks to coconut oil!

Our doctors are absolutely on the right track in our efforts to reduce and eliminate heart disease. Diet is without a doubt very important to take into consideration as it effects two out of four of our causes for heart disease. All we need to do is to build on this advice and take strides to find treatments for heart disease that will cover the rest of our bases and even work to enhance what we are already doing.

Using coconut oil in our daily lives will greatly enhance our ability to combat the causes of heart disease. Using coconut oil as one of our primary treatments for heart disease will not only lengthen our lives, but it will also create more quality in our lives.
