Want to organize a Halloween Bash to celebrate Halloween in style?Is this your first time throwing your own party or have you run out of ideas from having too many Halloween Shindigs?
Learn some party themes to go along with you party to please the crowd while experiencing the fun only the horrors of Halloween can bring.Here is one of my personal favorites;
Halloween Party Theme
Grim Reaper Theme - Have the music disc jockey wear a grim reaper outfit (one preferably that is menacing to look at with a hoodie that shadows the face) play some mixing tunes to energize the crowd at the start.
If you don’t mind going all out for the party, have fog machines to smokescreen the dance floor helps to spook up the scene.Give the audience some light show with Halloween images to get people get a visual feel of the atmosphere while they are dancing to the tunes.
Now my favorite part of the theme is around closing time or around midnight for me, this is where you start playing songs that bring a chill to your crowd with fright. An ending song I use is the, “Blue Oyster Cult - Don’t Fear the Reaper” and I go all out for the audience by arranging a “scene” to happen on the dance floor right at the end of the song.
How the scene goes, is to arrange before the song starts a few actors of mine to sneak into the dance crowd hit the middle of the dance floor ready to form a circle barring off the rest of the crowd from entering inside the circle where stage would be set.One of the actors will be the victim in my scene ready to play his role when cued by the end of the song all rehearsed of course.
Now I mentioned before of the disc jockey wearing the Grim reaper outfit, so when the Halloween song ends we turn the lights off for a while in order for me wearing that same Grim Reaper suit to navigate through the crowd with night vision goggles of course into the inner circle now created by my helpers with the “victim” in place ready for me to reap.
So when the lights hit with a thunderous clap sound, I'm there in a pose with my sickle ready to reap my “victim” while the disc jockey who wore the reaper outfit throughout the night mysteriously vanishes from the turntable making people look and wonder in excitement to the scene.
Makes for a grand end to the Halloween Dance Party!
Hope you enjoyed one of my many spirited Halloween themes that I’ve worked on over the years so celebrate a Holiday I’ve enjoyed for many years!
