I'm guessing that when the Raptor Research Project chose to put a web camera on a Mother bald eagle's nest in northeastern Iowa, they had no clue that eventually over one hundred million people would end up viewing it on the internet. There are some funny things that happen when people do different but interesting things, and sometimes they turn into something much bigger and better than anyone can imagine.
The same is true and has happened in different internet scenarios that people have thought up and tried. Can you imagine if you would have agreed to provide financial assistance to the creators of Facebook, and were paid back based on the success of the company?? Wow! It would be safe to say that the payback would have been quite profitable. Same with Groupon and other internet marketing ideas people have thought up and turned quickly into a big success within a short period of time.
Many times internet businesses start out in Pre-Launch stage, so that they can work the bugs out and make sure they have everything in good working order when they open up for business at a later stage. This is similar to having a storefront and opening up for business, but having a grand opening sale shortly after. That way when you have the grand opening that you would advertise to bring in many new customers in your doors, all the imperfections are hopefully all ironed out by then.
There are several different internet businesses that are currently in pre-launch, such as Admax21 and The Customer Advantage, opened for business by invitation only, working on making sure everything is ready to operate flawlessly when they are advertised and opened to the public. And it also gives those that are interested in profiting and joining them in the pre-launch stage an opportunity to get started before everything is out in the public.
So why would joining a pre-launch business ever become a huge success like the eagle cam you are probably wondering. When you are part of a business that is in that stage, you have the chance to let your friends and family know about it, and many of these business opportunities are set up so that when you and your friends or family or acquaintances sign up and join, you are sometimes paid a residual income or there is a bonus or both for referring those people, and often times the opportunity is many levels deep.
So if the friends you referred has their friends join, and those friends refer others, and so on, you can get paid for each of those people, often times 4-7 levels deep or more. And depending upon which company it is and how many levels they will compensate you for, it can add up to quite a nice compensation plan.
The biggest advantage to joining early, such as pre-launch stage, is that the word is not out yet, the company has not advertised much yet, so you have many people you can refer before everyone begins to hear about it. How about Groupon? When it first got started, it was probably not a huge deal to many people, but look at them now. They have become the fastest growing company in internet history. And I'm sure that much of that was because it was such a good idea and opportunity, that many of us would tell our friends and family about it, and they told their friends and so on, and it quickly caught on to millions of people.
The Customer Advantage is in pre-launch right now. TCA, which is the abbreviated company name that is going to be similar to Groupon with the group coupon internet business, but different in the sense that they are going to pay you a percentage for each group coupon that those you refer take advantage of. So if you refer your sister and your sister takes advantage of a daily deal for a meal at some local restaurant, then you will be paid a portion of the profit that comes from that deal. And that will go 5 levels deep. They also give people their own website to promote their business, something many people would like but can't otherwise afford to have.
A couple other companies that are in pre-launch are Admax 21 and Take The Internet Back. These two companies are paying people just to read advertiser emails, as well as paying people to refer others. Admax21 also gives you twenty dollars just for joining. And Take The Internet Back offers anyone that joins them part ownership in their company. You have to read a couple of advertisements each day or so that come to your inbox on their site, not in your personal email inbox, which is something that is a plus, at least for me, because my email inbox is usually full each day, so don't need more emails than what I already get! They ask you to refer two people sometime after you join, and never ask for a credit card or money, and after you refer two people, you never have to do anything else other than read emails to be part owner in their company.
That Free Thing is another company I am aware of that is in pre-launch stage. This company gives away something free every day, sometimes many things. I received a pair of eyeglasses as a member of That Free Thing. You can be what they call a "freeloader" and receive up to 5 items a day for free, or you can pay a small monthly fee and receive free things daily and get paid for everyone that you refer to join their company as well.
So joining a company that is in pre-launch may or may not provide someone amazing results like Groupon or a camera shot of a bald eagle. When you look for home based businesses or internet marketing companies, whether in pre-launch or just starting out, you never know what will happen with the company until it happens. I'm sure Groupon had no idea they were going to be the fastest growing company in internet history. And I'm sure that even though a bald eagle is an interesting animal, it is pretty surprising that over 100 million people all over the world took an interest in watching 3 little baby eagles grow up to fly.
