Keep Your Blood Flowing Naturally With This Tropical Fruit

We all know that the heart along with its network of arteries and veins is responsible for pumping the blood to all parts of the body. This feat is accomplished through a continuous cycle of contractions and expansions. The circulation of blood carries food and nutrients to the millions of cells that comprise the human body. However, for various reasons this process may become impaired and the efficiency at which the blood travels through the system may be severely degraded. Consequently, the body may not get the necessary nutrients it requires to function properly and thus placing it at risk particularly in terms of exposure to certainly circulatory generated diseases like hypertension and stroke.

It is essential then that blood flows freely to all parts of the body and therefore every effort must be made to ensure efficient blood flow. Here are some reasons why blood flow might be inhibited:

1. High cholesterol: Cholesterol is produced by the liver and from certain foods we eat. It is used by the body for cell maintenance, however high levels of cholesterol in the blood can cause the flow of blood in the system to slow. This is especially true for LDL or bad cholesterol.

2. High triglycerides: Triglycerides are molecules found in plasma that store excess fat from the foods we eat. While these fats may eventually be stored in adipose tissue in various parts of the body they must be transported via the blood. High levels of the fat molecules can slow the flow of blood.

3. Narrowing and hardening of the arteries and veins: While the chances of developing this condition increases as we get older, younger persons are not immune. Western diets contribute heavily to the development of plaque in particular. Plaque along with other factors like age can lead to the onset of this condition.

4. Blood clots: This happens when blood platelets cling together rather than remaining separate. When this occurs it becomes very difficult for the blood to move through the system. In fact in some instances, blood clots my totally obstruct blood flow resulting in serious health challenges.

The effects of blood clots can be devastating; consequently many prescription drugs like Plavix have been developed to bring quick remedy to conditions involving blood clots. However, it should be noted that if we consume the right foods clots can be prevented naturally. Diets high in fruits are said to be especially effective in preventing clots. The tropical fruit papaya in particular is rich with a substance that naturally fights clots and enhances blood flow. Bromelain is a compound found in papaya. Aside from augmenting blood flow this substance also helps to lower blood pressure and cholesterol. Bromelain, a healthy benefit you get with just one slice of papaya.

Great as always. Papayin and Bromelain from Papaya and Pineapple are the two most natural digestive enzymes among other things. Don't bother paying for expensive enzyme supplements.

Oh! Thank you so much Osteosport. I appreciate your comment. Will have to do some research on papayin, I'm not familiar with that particular compound but if it's like bromelin it should be similarly beneficial.
