10 Awesome Ways to Relax And Let Go

You are in full control, so just relax and let go. Relax means to be calm and collected. To relax is to make yourself less tense and to release or bring yourself relieve from the effects of tension and anxiety. There are several things that you can do to just relax and let go a little. It does not need to take long hours every day, some of these you can just do a few minutes a day with really great short term, but also awesome long term results. This is something you need to practice every day. You need to incorporate this in your daily routine. Early morning is best as you will be lifted higher throughout the day therefore your results would be life altering. Really, you can expect big changes.

Here comes the 10 awesome ways to relax and let go:

1. Music. This one is one of my favorites, music and dancing. Music relaxes me and lifts me high up every time. Also sing along, if it’s a song you know, sing loud and enjoy. Even be a little silly because music make everything alright. Does not matter what music you like. If you like it and you enjoy it, it is sure to calm the raging fires within you.

2. Yoga has so many advantages for you, your body and your life. Not only does yoga give you a good stretch, but it also creates peace of mind.

3. Dance like you are alone and nobody is watching. Dance just like your body feels like doing. Dancing has no rules, and no restrictions. Just pure enjoyment. Whether it be modern dance or the funky chicken, any style you like will make you feel a lot less anxious. And it always cheers up a bad mood and lo and behold dancing is a great form of cardio exercise as well.

4. Meditation. It takes only two bouts of 5 minutes of silent meditation a day to relax, relieve stress and anxiety. This can be done anywhere except traffic of course. But seriously, that 5 minutes you have between meetings, or during your tea time or during your lunch break. Yesterday you stressed through your day, today you take 5 minutes and your day goes so much smoother. All you have to do is find a quiet spot. Anywhere you can have a 5 minute quiet time, close your eyes, concentrate on your breathing and let go of all anxieties. Wipe everything from your mind for this short time and just concentrate on yourself and just breath. These 5 minutes a day guarantees to help you collect your thoughts and clear your head.

5. Breathe easy. Take some time out and just breath. Take slow deep breaths to lower your blood pressure and your heart rate. Close your eyes and just breath in through the nose and out through the mouth. This is an easy quick way to regain your calm and focus.

6. Exercise gets those endorphins flowing. This does not mean you have to slave at the gym for hours at a time. Flowing endorphins is something we want in order to relax. Just start to move, moving is good. Park your car a little further away from the building and walk the extra bit, take the stairs instead of the elevator. Any physical activity helps to beat stress and promotes relaxation. Take a walk rather than throwing yourself down on the couch as soon as you get home. Do a little each and every day, but just start. Start moving. You will see, yesterday you sat on the couch, today you are taking the stairs, tomorrow you are alive and well, relaxed and healthy. And like above, dancing is a great way to work in some exercise for the day so take a song and just start moving. Let your body do the talking.

7. Do repetitive motions. Like brushing your hair, washing dishes, sweeping or gardening. Repetitive motions cause you to relax and you get time to just think of nothing really. I myself do not like doing dishes, but I have seen what it does to my son. When he has had a bad day, especially if he is holding back and not talking about it. I make him do dishes with me after dinner. I can see the change within minutes, and then he always starts to spill the beans on what is going on with him. All the stuff that stressed him out during the day is released this way.

8. Get off the couch. Switch the TV off and do something else. I do not know of any advantages a TV has apart from a Saturday night movie. Other than the occasional movie, to relax and let go of all the bad stuff you need to put TV aside for good. There are so many better things to do instead of watching TV all the time. Cooking, not only healthy, its relaxing and fun. Get a hobby, also relaxing and productive as well as stimulating for both body and mind. Spending time with the family, really talking and listening to each other, really get to know each other and learn new things about each other. I cancelled my subscriptions and sold my TV a few years ago, and I must admit it was hard at first, but after the first month or so has passed I have not never looked back. I will probably never own a TV again. But that’s me, you don’t have to go to this extreme, just cut your TV time with an hour or two a day and see what difference it makes in your life.

9. Laugh out loud. Yes laughter is one of the best ways to relax and beat stress. There is an actual science behind it. An enjoyable fit of laughter increases blood flow, boosts immunity. Laughter a day keeps the doctor away I always say. Keep some jokes or funny videos handy for a quick relaxing pick me up. Laughing tend to generally make people happier.

10. Make love not war. Hatred is a very powerful emotion, and as long as you hate something or someone you will never lose those ties, everything you hate will always be with you. Loose the hatred and loose the stuff you don’t want.

Let go of all the stuff you do not want and need in your life. You have to let go in order to get some new stuff instead of what you have that is not making you happy. Let me explain it this way, if you have a container full of dirty water. In order to have clean usable water you need to clean out all the dirty water first. Easy as pie. In your life it works exactly the same you have to let the bad go to get the good.

There are many benefits of letting go. Accept what is, forgive if need be and then just relax and let go for you to be able to move forward. You will find that it is uplifting once you start to get the hang of it; simply for the reason that it’s heavy and is tying you down, and holding you back.

Letting go means to come to the realization that some stuff is a part of your history, but not a part of your future or your destiny. Holding on to something that is making you unhappy, or not good for you now, is the very reason you do not already have the something better that you deserve, and so desperately want and need in your life. Incredible changes happens in your life when you decide to relax and let go, thus taking control of what you do have power over instead of holding on to what you cannot control or change.

Let go of your world, in order to gain the universe. Every day holds the promise of a miracle.
