Everything in life is energy. Albert Einstein was able to mathematically prove this with his famous equation of E=mc2. I would beg to argue that you personally don’t need to have a mathematical equation to prove that your energy level impacts how your life unfolds.
For example, think of the time when you first fell in love. There is so much excitement in your life. You feel like you are walking on water. It seems like everything in life is great. You don’t even seem to mind as much if you get stuck in traffic…it actually can be a good thing because it gives you some time to drift off in to your happy place, thinking about your sweetie.
Or think about how you feel during a night of laughter with family or friends. The kind of laughing fit where your stomach hurts and your eyes water. There is a level of electricity that removes the stresses and cares away. It is from these times where some silly, yet productive ideas can be produced.
So, how can you attract positive energy into your life? How can you find people who experience life in this high energy state? Start existing in this high energy state yourself! When you find yourself starting to feel blah, bummed, scared, fearful or defeated, choose to change your state of mind. Here are three ways you can do that.
Gratitude
Being thankful for all that you have now is a great way to increase the positive energy in your life. Be thankful for everything you have now, and everything you will be receiving in the future. Say your thank you’s out loud. Write it down. Be thankful for the big things and the little things. Tell someone you are thankful for them.
Physical Motion
Physically create energy! That means get up! Get moving! Exercise. Go for a walk or a run. Turn on some great music and dance. Grab a friend, neighbor or co-worker and invite them to your dance party. It doesn’t take much to heat thing up and get the energy flowing again. Laughter is another great physical task you can do to raise your energy levels. Just start laughing…WARNING, it is contagious!
Fill Your Mind with Positive Thoughts
Some great ways to do this is by reading inspirational quotes about life, or listening or reading self help books that inspire, support and challenge your thoughts and actions.
In life, you have a choice about the mood you allow yourself to dwell in. Not saying you can’t be sad or mad or upset; but staying in that place is a choice. The good news is there are some very easy actions you can do that can change your mood very quickly. Get moving, get thankful and get to filling your mind with inspirational life quotes and turn that frown up-side-down!
