Hello and good day -

There are few things that can give us more more joy in this life - than seeing our children and youth become the best they can possibly be!

In our church, the youth take on assignments and do a great job with them - they will be our future leaders!

The sooner we help them develop leadership skills - the better. In our organizations - there are several age groups - young men and young woman, and others from little primary kids to several adult groups.

The Young men were assigned to put together a Christmas breakfast. It's close to thanksgiving - original assignments have been given out - advisers have been assigned - basic details have been looked at, etc.

Now the details, a place and time have been set, estimates on how many will be there have been confirmed - now to get ready and prepare the breakfast.

The breakfast will have to be set up, tables chairs, cooking area, buffet style breakfast will be done.

Adults will be given assignments and support the youth in all of this, but the youth will have to work with other groups to get this done, because they are small in numbers and because the training will be important for all involved.

Pancakes will be cooked, sausage, will be bought and precooked, other items will be assigned out, both groups have their assignments, advisers will follow up - with the youth, and see that the details are carried out, youth were asked about many details and how they would solve them, who could help and what would need to be done - so it would all come together.

The youth had to think, about decisions, follow up, assignments, details and follow through, - the advisers will help them do all of this! The advisers will also oversee the assignments and results, but the youth will see the importance of - planning, organizational skills, follow up an assignments. Working together with others and making sure things are done, from the planning and goals in stages, and the actual breakfast it self, coming together after all the planning and work assignments.

These skills are useful in all areas of our life.

The breakfast is a few weeks off - December 14th - Saturday morning at 8:30 am.

So far - so good - the next few weeks - will be important ones, on assignments and follow up.

The point to all of this is important - leadership and communication skill are used in every area of life, home, school, business and in public events - in all organizations -

Nothing every happens with out real - skills in these areas -

The better you get at these the more you can do with others, teams, corporations and civic groups etc.

This all starts with the youth and some advisers - some assignments and some follow up. etc.

Like even a pancake breakfast at church.
